Buttigieg, Klobuchar each raise more than $1 million in 24 hours after debate

[quote]Senator Amy Klobuchar, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Senator Bernie Sanders' campaigns are all reporting significant fundraising boosts for the 24-hour period following the primetime event in Ohio on Tuesday.

[quote]During that time, [bold]Klobuchar[/bold] raised $1.1 million in donations, which amounts to nearly 25% of what she raised from July through September, according to her campaign. It was not only her campaign's best day in online fundraising to date, her team also gained more new supporters than on any other day.

[quote][bold]Buttigieg's[/bold] campaign received more than $1 million from "tens of thousands of donors" and saw more traffic to their website in the past 24 hours than any other day.

[quote]After the debate, [bold]Sanders'[/bold] campaign announced that it raised $620,000 from more than 40,000 contributions.

The linky is stinky because of the video in the article, but everything you need to know is quoted above.

And damn Pete's long-ass surname for fucking up the bold tag. 😩

It's amazing how some people have so much money to waste. There should be a specific tax increase on the people on the donor list, since they have money to burn.

Love seeing Amy getting some love, though I suspect it's money thrown away since she probably won't qualify for the next debate. I swear she left a part of her spirit on that stage, that's how hard she fought. Just a shame we didn't see this side of her sooner.

r2 Everyone can donate only $2.800 to a single candidate during the primary. That's... not that much in the grand scheme of things. Keep in mind that Trump raised $25 million or something like that during a single fundraiser in California recently.
