Spotted Lanternfly: coming from Southeastern Pennsylvania to kill your wine-producing grape vines! (and other growing things)

People are freaking out on my Philly-area Facebook and NextDoor groups. Some of the pics folks have of this fly are gross - masses on trees.

Good news: maybe our winters will slow this pest down.

Bad news: sunbelt states from Cali to Florida .... good luck!

I saw and killed one this weekend. My town is freaking out. But they will die in a month when it freezes I assume.

Tbh, not sure what they do - but they are treating it like Ebola.
