I am very good friends with a U.S. Senator.

They told me on the phone last night Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was caught in the deposition of Fiona Hill allowing Trump to listen to her testimony via his cell phone. Attorneys for the Democrats and Republicans are thinking about filing criminal charges in the DC Federal Court. As these attorneys are hired by the House of Representatives, they can go directly to the Judge and not Barr. I was told, some people in the House want him expelled. He has several DUI's his dad got him out of and he has two indictments of illegal use of Campaign Funds for his own personal use. He has not been to court to face the charges yet. What Matt Gaetz did yesterday has severe criminal charges. The main one up to 15 years in prison. Matt Gaetz response, " The President will pardon me." Arrogant, unethical, and criminal behavior. But, he's a Trump ass kisser and a Republican

by Anonymousreply 67December 18, 2019 8:26 PM

He has a very punchable face.

by Anonymousreply 1October 15, 2019 8:33 PM

Republican reps too? That would shock me.

by Anonymousreply 2October 15, 2019 8:35 PM

If this is true, he needs to be airlifted out over the Atlantic ocean and dropped, tomorrow. I've had it scofflaws on both sides.

by Anonymousreply 3October 15, 2019 8:36 PM

Pure Filth

by Anonymousreply 4October 15, 2019 8:37 PM

Is the senator Josh from Missouri? Are you his fuck bud?

by Anonymousreply 5October 15, 2019 8:39 PM

Matt Gaetz has been a favorite villain for years on the DataLounge. Didn't he murder someone quite openly and then get the verdict changed to "suicide"? Something like that.

by Anonymousreply 6October 15, 2019 8:39 PM

Gaetz seems like one of those sociopaths who started with frogs and kittens. Textbook

by Anonymousreply 7October 15, 2019 8:42 PM

Can't the House expel him?

Trump can't pardon that.

by Anonymousreply 8October 15, 2019 8:47 PM

[quite] Didn't he murder someone quite openly and then get the verdict changed to "suicide"? Something like that.

I think he had one or more DUIs that Daddy made disappear. You might be thinking of that other white trash Florida panhandle Republican Congressman , Joe Scarborough. He had someone (female intern ?) found dead in his Congressional office. Ruled an accident or suicide, I believe.

by Anonymousreply 9October 15, 2019 8:48 PM

JFC, these people care nothing for their country, or even their jobs and reputations. They’re depraved as fuck. Unbelievable.

This is full on war on the US Constitution, rule of law, and due process. And because they seem to not give a fuck about anything other than staying in office, I’m willing to bet that someone in this tightly knit circle is going to end up dead in the next year or so.

by Anonymousreply 10October 15, 2019 8:49 PM

My grandfather, and my uncle, were both U.S. Senators.

by Anonymousreply 11October 15, 2019 8:53 PM

I read he was as ejected before testimony began. If so, how did he let Trump listen in on her statements l?

by Anonymousreply 12October 15, 2019 8:55 PM

Yeah, I read that too. I would think there would be more of a public uproar if he was actually caught transmitting...

by Anonymousreply 13October 15, 2019 9:09 PM

Do you think Hill's story was the only thing discussed before the actual testifying part, R12?

He's right, however; if convicted while Trump is on office, Trump will pardon him. But the thing with pardons is that either you're convicted or you admit to the crime, and you retain having the conviction on your record despite the pardon. Also, you lose your Fifth Amendment rights with a pardon, and can be compelled to testify against your will, which in Gaetz's case should worry Trump and all Congressional Republicans.

If I were Schiff, I'd have him arrested, booked and released on bail... and then delay any trial until Trump is gone.

by Anonymousreply 14October 15, 2019 9:12 PM

But you aren’t, are ya, r11? Ya not!

by Anonymousreply 15October 15, 2019 9:12 PM

No, I'm thinking of the rumor, oft retailed on DL, that Matt's roommate at FSU was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Snopes traces the story no farther back than 2016 and casts doubts on it.

by Anonymousreply 16October 15, 2019 9:22 PM

R8 I think Gaetz had a roommate that expired under um... interesting conditions. He is definitely over the threshold from weird to creepy.

by Anonymousreply 17October 15, 2019 9:35 PM

[quote]Though an administrator at Florida State University confirmed to us that roughly 30 students with expected graduations between 1999 and 2003 passed away during that time period, we found nothing publicly suggesting a Gaetz link to any case that received press coverage. As such, we consider the claim without merit.

30 student deaths? Wtf? Sure, it’s Florida, but still . . .

by Anonymousreply 18October 15, 2019 9:38 PM

Gaetz is hot. He can sit on my face anytime.

by Anonymousreply 19October 15, 2019 9:43 PM

Matt is an idiot, obviously. The interesting thing here is how incredibly worried Trump was about her testimony, for him to set Matty up like this.

Very, very worried I would imagine.

by Anonymousreply 20October 15, 2019 9:43 PM

I hope he gets caught and bounced out of office, fucking scumbag. I also want to see Gym Jordan go down in flames too. Fucking redneck assholes.

by Anonymousreply 21October 15, 2019 9:47 PM

Gaetz is a literal blockhead.

by Anonymousreply 22October 15, 2019 9:55 PM

What a cuntstipated cunt who ever lived.

by Anonymousreply 23October 15, 2019 10:10 PM

R18, that's only an average of 6 dead students per year. Undergrads are constantly killing themselves, dying in road accidents, having aneurysms, coming down with cancer, etc. And FSU is a big school; they probably barely missed them.

by Anonymousreply 24October 15, 2019 10:14 PM

I hope nancy is talking with the hoose dem members right now about charging him. I guess he wants Nunes’ job

by Anonymousreply 25October 15, 2019 10:33 PM

I usually don't credit the "questionable anal hygiene" troll but if he were to chime on this guy I would definitely agree with him.

by Anonymousreply 26October 15, 2019 10:52 PM

[quote]that's only an average of 6 dead students per year.

Heck, we lose that many in an average DAY.

by Anonymousreply 27October 15, 2019 10:56 PM

R11 is the late Gore Vidal, still posting on DL.

by Anonymousreply 28October 15, 2019 11:00 PM

If Trump had actually been listening to the phone call, does anyone actually believe he would not have tweeted about it already, multiple times.

by Anonymousreply 29October 15, 2019 11:05 PM

this is not true. he was booted because he's not on the committee.

by Anonymousreply 30October 15, 2019 11:08 PM

It's not one or the other, R30 - Both can be true.

by Anonymousreply 31October 15, 2019 11:11 PM

I would guess that R11 is a Chafee. Rand Paul is still in the Senate (unfortunately); I'm not aware that Chris Dodd has nieces or nephews; and if Evan Bayh's brother has children I think they're too young to post on DL.

by Anonymousreply 32October 15, 2019 11:28 PM

I'm guessing that R11 is a (Millard/Alan) Simpson family member.

by Anonymousreply 33October 16, 2019 12:01 AM

How many Patrick Batemans do we have in the White House now?

by Anonymousreply 34October 16, 2019 12:38 AM

I am a licensed physician, r26, certainly not a troll! Just because you don't like the way a person looks, it doesn't mean they have questionable anal hygiene. Leave this to the professionals.

by Anonymousreply 35October 16, 2019 2:24 PM

And when will the president be brought up on these charges?

by Anonymousreply 36October 16, 2019 2:36 PM

He was not allowed in the deposition so how did he do it?

by Anonymousreply 37October 16, 2019 2:42 PM

Gaetz is a hot muscle man. So buff, strong, and manly. I would love to run my fingers through his thick sexy hair and stare at his handsome face.

by Anonymousreply 38October 16, 2019 2:49 PM

And I would like to lobotomize you and strap you to a chair in a straitjacket r38.

by Anonymousreply 39October 16, 2019 3:11 PM

Is anybody good friends with a U.S. Senatrice?

by Anonymousreply 40October 16, 2019 3:48 PM

OP, do you know Josh Hawley? Have you fucked him? BB? TIA.

Christ, you're tedious.

by Anonymousreply 42October 17, 2019 12:49 PM

R42’s mama should have sluiced her out when she had the chance.

by Anonymousreply 43October 17, 2019 1:13 PM

Josh has some large teefs

by Anonymousreply 44October 18, 2019 2:30 PM

An article from the left leaning Intrepid Report. Even his sexuality is up for debate.

Gaetz is beyond awful, of course, but he looks so much better after what appears (at least in his face) to be a substantial loss of weight.

by Anonymousreply 46October 21, 2019 8:46 PM

We need to start indicting people. Yeah we know they are awful and make good media stories. We need jail time.

by Anonymousreply 47October 21, 2019 9:07 PM

Trump can’t pardon the little douchebag if the trial doesn’t start until after Trump gets defeated.

by Anonymousreply 48October 21, 2019 9:14 PM

That stuff about Matt Gaetz being a closet case and dating a megachurch pastor is pretty juicy

by Anonymousreply 49October 21, 2019 10:39 PM

R37, he entered the room in which the deposition was being held, and then was ordered out.

Matts been crushing on AOC.

by Anonymousreply 55October 22, 2019 8:43 AM

Hjjjj

by Anonymousreply 56October 22, 2019 8:29 PM

No one answered, how could he record if he was not allowed in?

by Anonymousreply 57October 22, 2019 8:39 PM

[quote]Is what OP says true? Does the media know about this?

Do you seriously think if it were true it wouldn't have been leaked to the press?

by Anonymousreply 58October 22, 2019 8:40 PM

I want to see Matt's big muscles flexing.

by Anonymousreply 59October 25, 2019 9:11 PM

Thanks R50

I haven't checked specifically, but appears Gaetz represents a district in what's called the Redneck Riviera. A previous commenter was correct; time for these assholes to go to prison.

by Anonymousreply 62December 10, 2019 10:41 AM

Is Op that guy who posted pretending to be some sort of Washington insider ?

by Anonymousreply 63December 10, 2019 11:01 AM

I just learned that the original “red necks” were miners who were fighting against the coal companies, which were abusing their labor, refusing to pay them in actual money, creating systemically unsafe working conditions, etc. They were labor organizers, essentially, and the “red neck” referred to the bandanas they used to protect their airways in the mines.

Similarly, “hillbillies” were the Appalachians, after the Civil War, who were working to create integrated local governments with the freed slaves. “Hillbilly” was a pejorative on par with “nigger lover” or today’s “social justice warrior”.

Both terms were used by the fascist right wing to demonize liberal Southerners. And that propaganda was so effective that few people today, including those who have ‘reclaimed’ the names, have any idea of their original and intended meanings.

by Anonymousreply 64December 10, 2019 1:01 PM

R64, are you aware that the 1900 census shows that 80% of white southerners were illiterate and did not own property? Call them what you like, but statistics don't lie. 1900 isn't ancient history.

by Anonymousreply 65December 10, 2019 1:08 PM

This never happened
