Did he meet with any of the crooks involved? It's not like he and Huffman are joined at the hip. They're both probably on location - separate locations - most of the time.

If the feds had evidence on Macy, he'd be facing charges, too. They would've loved to get their hands on him if they could have, so either he wasn't in on it or he's diabolically clever.

Do you know how the world works OP? If there is no evidence linking Macy to the crimes, then he is a free man.
"They probably talked about it" does not hold up in court.
