What is odd about this is that HBO Max is supposed to exist so AT&T can mine Warner Bros IP, and yet they’re ordering this from Paramount.

As an HBONow subscriber, I guess HBOMax is good because basically it will be the same as Now but with even more content and for supposedly the same basic price.

No HBO Now will not include HBO Max. You will have to subscribe to both.

Well I think the idea is everyone will cancel HboNow and get HboMax. I expect that HboNow will be going the way of the Dodo.

The rumor is Max will launch for $17, and why i am going to pay not pay two more dollars.

Though whether people who don't subscribe to HBO now will be tempted like Max like they are hoping, I am not so sure.

You are mistaken r10. HBOMax is going to include everything that HBONow does. It's going to make HBONow largely obsolete.

So HBO Max will include HBO Now and may even cost the same. That means they may lower the cost of HBO Now. So, they may lower it to 10 and price HBO Max fifteen, to compete with Netflix
