Social Justice is killing white men, but they deserve it because they're all racist, even the ones that are not racist

Depression and anxiety and other mental health disorders are common among middle class white people. This is common knowledge.

Middle class white men tend to develop things like depression due to the mundanity and comfort of their lives. Most of their problems aren’t threatening to their very existence or their life as a big picture, which is one of the big reasons most minorities (outside of the LGBT+ community of course) don’t have as high statistics for self-harming mental disorders as middle class white men do. It’s like the old saying says, those who have no real problems tend to create some for themselves.

And yes, if a grown adult man chooses to have kids, he is responsible for his part in rearing them.

If he doesn't have a support system it's largely because we have no social services to speak of any more, and because health and mental care are expensive and sometimes difficult to find.

If he can't afford his own place and child support too, it's because corporate greed has reduced wages and benefits.

The typical DLer tunnel vision says everything is the fault of women (or blacks or immigrants, in other threads) but the fact is that everyone is suffering from lower quality of life thanks to basic health and financial needs not being met anymore.

I think they need to qualify this a bit more - it seems to be rural, straight white men. I've said this before - but most small towns only existed as commerce hubs for 19th and early 20th century agriculture.

There's no viable reason to have these small towns and small cities - and it sucks if you're from there. No good paying jobs, can't afford to move somewhere else - and then there's the pressure you get to stay where you are, if only for family reasons.

I took to fixing the kid’s PC, because I have that skill set. Somebody kept breaking the USB ports by impatience in plugging the connections in. Finally I stopped repairing it, because it kept breaking, and I’d already put a few hundred into it, upgrading the memory and replacing the motherboard. I eventually realized it was the Dad, not the kid, breaking the ports. The Dad finally replaced the now high school-aged kid’s computer with one that was older than the kid, running Window’s Vista, that he got for $75. I’ll probably always be pissed about that, because I was raised to prioritize education, and I had two sets of encyclopedias when I was a kid, which were not cheap in the 1960s and I know my parents sacrificed for.
