Artichokes, Avocados, Shrimp
Sorry, I chose three.
I’m pissed. Costco used to sell a four pack of artichokes, now they do not. (At least at my Costco).

OP, how do you cook your artichokes?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 14, 2019 7:53 PM |
Peanut butter
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 14, 2019 7:54 PM |
R5 I boil them for 45 minutes, depending on their size, and dip the ends in mayonnaise with Johnny Seasoning sprinkled on mayo. I love the heart.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 14, 2019 7:55 PM |
R5 do you eat artichokes? If so, how do you cook/eat yours?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 14, 2019 7:59 PM |
Olives. If I had only a month to live I’d eat nothing but olives and drink nothing but Coco Cola made with real sugar.

Soup.
Not any particular kind. It can be home- or factory-made, and it can be with or without meat. It's the combination of flavours I enjoy most.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 14, 2019 8:16 PM |
Half n Half for my coffee along with real sugar. No flavored creamers, no dairy substitutes, no artificial sweeteners, must be half n half and sugar and nothing else.

Rice.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 14, 2019 8:28 PM |
Cheese. Literally any kind of cheese. Add potatoes and I'm a happy man
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 14, 2019 8:33 PM |
Wilted spinach with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Although it’s 3 ingredients, it’s one flavor. OK, I’ll truly break the rule of the thread. Do the above, but grate some shallot and a little aged Gouda. Want it even better? Throw in some orzo.

R8, I have only had bottled antipasto style artichokes. Fresh artichokes look delicious. I’ve waited too long to try one cooked.

What the hell is Johnny seasoning?

R29 yes, they are wonderful. I add ham to the potatoes, too. They are delicious. I definitely need a walk or two after eating them.

R61
I removed the tough leaves, cut up the hearts, sauteed them with garlic, and served them with pasta. Next time, I'll probably do my usual and steam them whole. There's nothing like disassembling a whole artichoke and dipping the leaves in butter or aioli.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 15, 2019 7:35 AM |
Vegemite.

Buttered toast
Home-made style bread with lots of real butter spread all over. Can be a tasty dessert too when you sprinkle a mixture of white sugar and cinnamon over the buttered toast.
