OMG! An eager opponent! Sir, I demand satisfaction!

by Anonymousreply 1October 7, 2019 6:58 PM

Here’s the most recent thread, prematurely closed to cows, etc.

by Anonymousreply 2October 7, 2019 7:01 PM

Moo you too.

by Anonymousreply 3October 7, 2019 7:14 PM

Oh my mooo, what a luxurious space. Makes me want to decorate.

by Anonymousreply 4October 7, 2019 11:20 PM

I saw Dulcinea wandering over with LaFitte. There was quite a bit of cottage cheese trailing behind her, though. Glad to see LaFitte wore his rain bonnet. Somebody holler when they arrive.

by Anonymousreply 5October 7, 2019 11:23 PM

That is Margaret who is trailing cottage cheese, dear Phyllis. I’ve been here half an hour hamding out Welcome Clover sprigs for all.

by Anonymousreply 6October 7, 2019 11:27 PM

I love cottage cheese and other cow byproducts and products. Time to pay my butcher a visit. Yum.

by Anonymousreply 7October 7, 2019 11:31 PM

Him again!

by Anonymousreply 8October 7, 2019 11:33 PM

My new look.

Desmond! You look smashing. Is that a Roy ‘do? Is he sober, finally? I could use a trim but last time Roy burned me with the curlers.

by Anonymousreply 10October 8, 2019 12:22 AM

I’m offended.

by Anonymousreply 11October 8, 2019 12:24 AM

Hmm, not sure how to interpret the poll. Maybe after some fresh hay.

by Anonymousreply 12October 8, 2019 5:35 AM

The interpretation is simple: Mooo!

by Anonymousreply 13October 8, 2019 8:56 AM

But did you ”moo“ hout loud? You don’t pronounce the H, Advil.

by Anonymousreply 14October 9, 2019 2:03 AM

Moooo!

Yes it’s early, I know. Just had a hankering. Mooo!

by Anonymousreply 15October 10, 2019 3:57 PM

The OP has the biggest Potamus I've ever see

by Anonymousreply 16October 10, 2019 4:00 PM

Well, moo to you, Mortimer! I missed your post as I had to move my car. They’ve started street sweeping and it’s very complicated. Why can’t they clean out the barn? These humans are very inefficient. I’m sorry, but I’d fire them all and put a cow in charge.

by Anonymousreply 17October 10, 2019 5:46 PM

Cows driving cars?!

by Anonymousreply 18October 10, 2019 5:54 PM

Cows driving limos are what I’m about.

by Anonymousreply 19October 10, 2019 6:39 PM

Di’Jon,

And I am telling you, you’re not going.

You’re the best cow I ever had, I don’t wanna be freee

by Anonymousreply 20October 10, 2019 6:48 PM

[quote] for real and in the flesh.

Mmmmmm. Cow flesh.

Saruman seems like he might have a farming accident. They are surprisingly commonplace, and can be very serious.

So be gone! Before a hot air balloon falls on you!

by Anonymousreply 23October 11, 2019 4:03 AM

I don't moo!

I whoo!

Whoo!

That’s a wonderful costume for Halloween, R24! Spooky!

by Anonymousreply 25October 14, 2019 12:46 AM

Good day Sir, Good Day, Madam, I bid you an October Moo!

This morning, the Gals at the Gate Guild has its Autumn hike led by Rolf this year as he always finds some interesting smells to point out as we go, and our photographer, Jacob. Look for us in next week’s rotogravure.

I wanted to complement Melrose on his understated and cryptic reply about Carl in the “my neighbor plays his ukulele” thread, but now I can’t find the thread, so I’ll just drop this here.

Well done, old boy!

by Anonymousreply 27October 14, 2019 3:34 PM

Incidentally, the urban dictionary says they are a Hawaiian and Gay thing, Well, live and learn!

by Anonymousreply 28October 14, 2019 3:36 PM

Mooo! And honestly, Bertrand, who could find Carl’s music so disturbing? Play on, little friend.

by Anonymousreply 29October 14, 2019 4:31 PM

I saw that thread, too, Bertrand. Someone also registered a complaint about a hot air balloon, mercy! That is very triggering to Günther, I’d imagine.

Oh, and moo!

by Anonymousreply 30October 14, 2019 4:35 PM

Such a beautiful day.

I propose a picnic. Maybe even another outdoor movie night?

Somebody will have to find Gertie, though.

Or is it Girtie, I’ve been confused.

by Anonymousreply 31October 14, 2019 4:38 PM

I’d have blasted that guy with my Peruvian flute for hours if I’d known.

Hmmph.

by Anonymousreply 32October 14, 2019 4:40 PM

I [italic] WHOOP !

by Anonymousreply 33October 14, 2019 4:49 PM

R31, perhaps [italic] Children of the Corn? [/Italic] It seems appropriate for the season. What say you? Phyllis and Carl, etc, you can vote, too. Moo.

by Anonymousreply 34October 14, 2019 5:00 PM

Delightful! Please accept my baGAWK as a yes.

by Anonymousreply 35October 14, 2019 5:07 PM

I will give you this rose if you’d let me shelter in your barn tonight, away from this cold.

by Anonymousreply 36October 14, 2019 5:12 PM

[quote] Maybe even another outdoor movie night?

How about Faces of Death?

by Anonymousreply 37October 14, 2019 5:17 PM

Security!

R37 snuck back in again.

by Anonymousreply 38October 14, 2019 5:21 PM

R37, is there any grass in it? Or corn or anything? I’m not sure it will get a turn out. I just don’t know. [italic] Gertie [/italic] is nodding “No”. Moo. Sorry, dear. Extra moos to soothe your ego, whomever you are.

by Anonymousreply 39October 14, 2019 5:23 PM

0ld Begger Cow, of course you are welcome! Have an egg roll. Have some fried rice, Have a cookie, have a few! Ok, maybe not a few. There are limits.

You didn’t bring any pumpkins, did you? They are highly valued here, right now. You may be sent out secretly at night, Under the fence to the neighbor’s to find a bunch. Mushrooms are also acceptable, but that’s for later. No worries.

Oh, and there’s a movie on the barn tonight.

by Anonymousreply 40October 14, 2019 5:34 PM

Thank Moo Very Much.

I'm thinking burger & fries.

Steaks & Baked Potatoes.

And Malted Milk Shakes & Ice Cream.

Moo-Hoo !

by Anonymousreply 41October 14, 2019 7:26 PM

That’s not me at R41. I’m not that openly crude.

by Anonymousreply 42October 14, 2019 7:33 PM

🐮 [italic] Fank Moo Dairy Much !

by Anonymousreply 43October 14, 2019 8:11 PM

It’s also important to recognize and celebrate:that Cow Plague was eliminated in October, 2010. Like magic, just gone!

In October 2010, the FAO announced it was confident the disease has been eradicated. The agency said that "[a]s of mid 2010, FAO is confident that the rinderpest virus has been eliminated from Europe, Asia, Middle East, Arabian Peninsula, it was simultaneously announced by really smart cows, too. (I’m sure the FAO is some human announcing agency, or maybe a toy store.)

Sorry, Australia! 😫. 🕷

by Anonymousreply 44October 14, 2019 8:58 PM

There will be an indie short called [italic] “The Will Be Corn”, [/italic] too. Starts at sundown. Virtually unlimited popcorn will be shutdown during the screening, because I know how you all are. Moo.

by Anonymousreply 45October 14, 2019 9:09 PM

October Moon to you all.

Is that like the Harvest Moon?

I don't get it.

by Anonymousreply 46October 14, 2019 9:42 PM

Just imagine that. All this anticipation and what do we gather ‘round for?

Faces of Death.

I want a word with Alphonso. The hens are barren. Is this a good outcome to you??

by Anonymousreply 47October 15, 2019 8:45 AM

R37, wants one thing only

And when he's done, he'll leave you lonely

He'll murder your love, he murdered mine, just wait and see

Just wait, moo Melrose, wait and see

by Anonymousreply 48October 15, 2019 9:07 AM

A cow who kills has no heart

And he's the cow who gets your heart

Very smart, Alphonso, very smart.

by Anonymousreply 49October 15, 2019 9:22 AM

What happened? How was [italic] Children if the Corn? [/italic] Was [italic] There will be Corn [/Italic] any good?

Muriel locked me out, on movie night! and I’m really pissed about it. I’m thinking of reincorporating the Guild over at Lipstick Alley or wherever the hip cows gather, if this happens again. I’m tired of this chicken shit. Lafitte is putting out feelers with his contacts in NYC. Christmas Moose is having his agent fly out from Beverly Hills and meet him at his office on Gramercy Park for a face-to-face, which is quite a power play, if you think about it. We’ll see. This ain’t [/italic] Animal Farm, [/italic] baby!

by Anonymousreply 50October 16, 2019 2:52 AM

[quote] wherever the hip cows gather

Speaking of hip cows, is the shank the hip part of the cow or is that the round?

by Anonymousreply 51October 16, 2019 3:01 AM

I will ignore Camille the cannibal at R51.

At the link I’d the new thread.
