I have a friend who talks a lot about ghosts in his house. This friend also hires a "healer" (no credentials such as an RN or an MD) to help with the ghosts and other problems. The "healer" is supposedly psychic or clairvoyant. I'm turned off whenever this friend starts talking in that vein.

People who are religious and say things like "my faith" automatically lose respect. Smoking and Republicanism are factors, too. I also fully can't respect obese people. I don't mean overweight. I get people carry extra pounds and life's demands don't always make it easy to exercise and eat well. When you start wandering into obese territory, though, there are personality issues at play.
