Boris Johnson skips press conference with Luxembourg PM amid loud booing by protesters
Boris Johnson recieved a frosty welcome as he arrived for talks with Luxembourg's prime minister, Xavier Bettel. A large group of protesters outside the gates of the Luxembourg ministry of state jeered loudly as Johnson shook hands with Bettel, before breaking out into chants of 'tell the truth, stop the coup'. Johnson left the meeting without hosting a planned press conference, leaving Bettel to speak to the media alone. (video below)
The UK are fucked

Instead of booing him which is kind of childish and rude, why not be civil and have an election to get rid of him?
Oh wait, it’s because Labour are afraid to lose to him.

Johnson is a miserable coward, a complete embarrassment to the UK. He's hopelessly out of his depth, lost in the swirl of all his lies and deceit. Does he think we're all stupid? We know his supporters and the vast majority of his miserable conservative party are but he should cut the rest of us some slack. The sooner he and his out of depth cronies are gone the sooner we can get on with real life

As much as I've enjoyed seeing the videos of this I very much doubt he cares. I've met incredibly privileged men like Boris before and they are so utterly sure of themselves that boos from the unwashed are more confusing than hurtful. He'll go home and talk to his other establishment friends and there will be sense of mild outrage that people could be so vulgar and have the audacity to boo him. I hope I'm wrong and he goes home feeling useless and a complete fraud but 'imposter syndrome' is for nobodies.

Faced with a handful of people shouting: “We don’t like you very much,” Johnson imploded under the weight of his own narcissism. The Incredible Bulk morphed from green to yellow and fled sobbing indoors. He’d been in some tricky situations before where the future of the world had been at risk from super-soldiers powered by gamma radiation. But nothing as dangerous as this.
He begged Bettel to move their joint press conference somewhere less noisy. Preferably somewhere no one would ask him any difficult questions. Bettel demurred. The lecterns were set up, the journalists were in place and he’d go ahead without him. Johnson was about to be humiliated by the second smallest country in the EU. Taking back control by losing control. Classic Dom.

See, Trump would never meet anyone in a place where lots of protestors could gather to boo him. UK doesn’t have the $ to pay for the enormous security a US president has. Trump would tell whoever he is meeting with that there are to be no protestors within a mile of where he is and advance teams would be sent out from US to make sure the host country gets its police forces and military to clear the route. He will not meet a world leader in a place where groups of people can bee heard booing him.
Poor old Boris, ha ha ha.
PS - one day I went out to a dr appointment and the traffic on the back roads (I only take back roads in summer) started getting blocked. I thought it was a car accident. On my way home I realized more roads were closed off except the one I was on. It was Trump. Nobody knew he’d be taking that backroad route. I saw a few people with homemade signs - they were supporters and it was obvious they made the signs in a hurry, so they didn’t know Trump was coming. There were some protestors close to the place Trump was visiting, but they were blocked from being anywhere near the entry and isolated from where the press was.
