I am a psych major and I want to take a little baby and put a rat by him. This baby loves rats. My idea is that every time the rat is near I will make a loud noise and startle the baby.
The experiment will show that babies can be conditioned like Pavlov dog.
But the idiot professor says it's unethical.
What do you think?

Apart from the ethical issues why does the OP think he's going to show anything new in an undergrad experiment? you don't start doing original research until postgrad, and then you are generally pushing forward other people's work in increments. I don't think OP knows how academia works.
