Flying from P Town to Fire Island etc

Someone I follow in social media flies on a small private plane from Islip to somewhere near P-Town almost weekly. How much does something like this cost?

Not much, a bit bumpy though.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, I know something related: there's a hydroplane from somewhere off Manhattan (23rd St?) to Provincetown that costs $900 (one way).

I figure, depnding on the type of plane and the number of people making the trip, a private plane will cost similar (?)

A King Air Turbo prop is ok for short flights. About $400 per hour. Plus fuel and pilot. Prob like $800 one way. You may have to pay for the dead leg trip back but usually not

$800? That's not so bad compared to the drive. You can't ferry there right?

Who needs to fly from P Town TO Fire Island? What the fuck is this thread about?
