Yas!
I hope she bares her breasts in this, she looks sexy again

Great make-up.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 7, 2019 4:24 PM |
She’s bringing Kellyanne Conway teas.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 7, 2019 4:34 PM |
apparently this role was intended for Barbara Streisand
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 7, 2019 4:35 PM |
Yup, R5.
I wanted to ask you a little bit about your upcoming projects. I know that you were working on a show with Ryan Murphy potentially, yes?
No, no, no. We were in talks about it, but I had to do my album. He wanted me to play a part in a very good script called “The Politician,” and when I turned it down he hired Jessica Lange, who’ll be brilliant. And it’s with Gwyneth. But I wanted to make my album. I couldn’t devote the time to that.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 7, 2019 4:39 PM |
Barbara sure is ugly!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 7, 2019 4:45 PM |
Unless they changed the character for Jessica Lange, I don't see how Babs could've pulled off "Dusty"
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 7, 2019 4:45 PM |
Granted, I haven't seen the show or even read the script, but Dusty seems like a free-spirited old broad. Babs did that well in the Fockers movies and she's one of the only reasons to watch it. She seemed super loose and fun in that.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 7, 2019 4:47 PM |
Wow will she be up against Streep and Dern for BSA in a Drama series at the 2020 Emmys?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 7, 2019 4:59 PM |
Another flop for Lange.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 7, 2019 5:14 PM |
R10 She’ll be competing in Comedy, Supporting Actress. Streep is in Drama, Supporting.
Another pic.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 7, 2019 7:39 PM |
Can’t wait!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 7, 2019 11:56 PM |
I need Dusty NOW.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 8, 2019 1:23 PM |
She could pass for 50 in that pic and looks better than she has in years. Well done, Jess!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 8, 2019 5:39 PM |
I love the trashy teased hair, heavy tan and under eye makeup they gave her.
I can just TELL Dusty is going to be poignant but fun.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 8, 2019 7:34 PM |
I meant eyeliner, lol
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 8, 2019 7:40 PM |
Emmy #5, after she wins Emmy #4 for Guest Actress this year.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 8, 2019 7:51 PM |
Is Dusty supposed to be a reference to me? There are similarities, you know.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 8, 2019 8:49 PM |
R19 I do wonder!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 8, 2019 9:35 PM |
R19, All I see us you...
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 8, 2019 9:55 PM |
So, she plays the gaudy, money hungry West Virginian mother (or grandmother?) of a leukemia-stricken Zoey Deutch?
Get ready for smiles, tears, drags, hopefully a couple of breakdowns (no one in the biz does these as brilliantly as Ms. Lange) and maybe a song.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 8, 2019 10:26 PM |
Barbra is a better actress than Lange. Jessica plays every character in the same breathless way with doses of over-the-top anger. Literally every single role. Barbra would have developed a unique character with Dusty, like she did in All Night Long.
Like Hepburn said about her, "Click, click, click went the bitch."
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 8, 2019 10:47 PM |
R23 omg. Yas!
Whatever the influence/inspiration is, Ms. Lange will will kill it.
It’s no wonder she’s Meryl’s favorite actress and peer (see video below at around 4 minutes).
It makes me so giddy! Oh, look at that. Now my nipples are hard.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 8, 2019 10:57 PM |
R24 is obviously Barbra Streisand. Barbra would bring nothing to the table except a nosh of lox and bagels.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 9, 2019 12:17 AM |
R27 I thought it was Faye, lol.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 9, 2019 2:45 PM |
I’m ready. From Tom and Lorenzo:
[quote]Watching screeners for Netflix's #ThePolitician and I mean, LOOK. AT. HUH. Jessica Lange as Dusty Jackson. LUVHUH.
[quote]"Ryan Murphy's 'The Politician' offers a rare glimpse into just what it takes to make a politician." Also, one hell of a cast. More later. L

Did they do the same de-aging to Lange in this as they did in a scene or two of the first AHS?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 15, 2019 12:08 AM |
Mama is going to KILL it and win either her fourth or fifth Emmy for this, depending on whether or not she wins the Emmy this year for AHS.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 15, 2019 1:45 AM |
Is Gwyneth playing Platt's mother?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 20, 2019 4:02 AM |
Dear Barbra at r24, Katharine Hepburn said "click, click, click" about Meryl Streep, not Jessica Lange.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 20, 2019 6:32 AM |
I call Bullshit.
Barbra turned down the role because the part was too small.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 20, 2019 11:31 AM |
Barbra turned it down because she didn’t want to say “buttmunch”.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 22, 2019 4:52 PM |
I love Lange but it would have been funnier if Barbra Streisand had said butt munch. Imagine if Ryan Murphy got her to channel her What’s Up Doc? character.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 22, 2019 4:58 PM |
National Treasure.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 22, 2019 5:16 PM |
Congrats OP, you've just established yourself as the official Jessica Lange troll on here... (paywall this bitch)
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 22, 2019 5:30 PM |
R40 Oh joy, the ‘troll’ branding troll is here.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 22, 2019 5:36 PM |
I’ve ALWAYS been the Lange Troll, lol.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 22, 2019 7:47 PM |
Is it true ugly Jack Nicholson slipped his fingers inside during their sex scene? I heard he or the director had a more explicit cut they'd show to their friends. Very sleazy
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 23, 2019 4:56 PM |
R43, do you think I'd let him do that? Who do you think I am, Meryl Streep???
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 23, 2019 5:11 PM |
R19 I wondered the same!
The hair and attire definitely has a hint of early 70s Dusty.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 23, 2019 5:25 PM |
Jack and Jes went far on Postman. They were young, fabulous and method acting, lol.
Lange should’ve received her first Oscar nomination for Postman.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 24, 2019 7:51 AM |
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 28, 2019 7:49 PM |
R46 Jack was 44 when they made that. Hardly young.
