That’s a really good pic, OP.
The truth is that he looks like an old woman now. (I’ll try to find a more accurate photo.)
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 31, 2019 4:45 PM |
He looks good but he should lose that goatee.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 31, 2019 4:46 PM |
Amazing for a 55 year old, yes.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 31, 2019 4:48 PM |
On that roof, he was more bonerific than at anytime since T&L.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 31, 2019 4:49 PM |
He looks better in those pics than he does in the film. The goatee helps. There’s something weird about his chin and neck in the film. Bad work maybe?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 31, 2019 4:53 PM |
He's not a bad looking man and he has a nice body but I never saw the "heartthrob" or sex symbol appeal of this guy. Many, many hotter guys walking the streets of NYC on an average day.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 31, 2019 4:54 PM |
His Missouri accent turns me on.

[quote]nothing says old like a white beard
Yeah. I used to do scruff until my beard turned white. And I am not going to look like some damned fool the way a friend of mine does, dyeing his beard. Neurotigay.

He's looking good. Though he's looking like Kurt Russell a bit more. Brad doesn't seem like a difficult person.

by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 31, 2019 5:03 PM |
He looks healthy and not addicted to anything. Big improvement than his later zombie years with Saint Angelina of the Opium Crypt.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 31, 2019 5:15 PM |
He needs an age appropriate haircut he's too old for the ragged do.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 31, 2019 5:19 PM |
I'd go gay for him.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 31, 2019 5:21 PM |
Hollywood is a young person's game R16. Can't go out looking like Bernie Sanders to a premiere.

For a man of 55, absolutely.

I wonder if Brad Pitt's ever bottomed.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 31, 2019 5:33 PM |
Nope. He lost his shine a long time ago with me. The airplane incident only solidified my opinion and then his attempts to link himself to someone who clearly outclassed him in both looks and intelligence.
He sobered up and combed his hair for the premier. I'd rather see younger, hotter men, like Richard Madden.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 31, 2019 5:37 PM |

His hair seems fine to me. Nothing like James Gunn who's reaching Ken Burns levels of embarrassment with his 'do.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 31, 2019 6:43 PM |
He is still able to pull off the long hair, usually by 40 the long hair must go.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 31, 2019 7:00 PM |
He's freakin' beautiful. An aging pretty boy. The most sexy beast there is.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 31, 2019 7:40 PM |
He is at peak ageing pretty boy. And post breakup he looked like he had AIDS wasting. I'm really happy to see him turn it all around.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 31, 2019 7:50 PM |
Did you know there is a song called Brad Pitt Poops?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 31, 2019 7:59 PM |
No
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 31, 2019 8:02 PM |
At least he didn't get a bunch of fillers like Tammy Cruise.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 31, 2019 8:05 PM |
The hair and goatee don't work for me but otherwise, he looks fine for his age. The plastic surgery has settled in pretty well and isn't all that obvious. Definitely had a thing for him in his prime.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 31, 2019 8:13 PM |
Well he’s better looking than all those Pitt offspring.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 31, 2019 8:22 PM |
I saw Once Upon a Time the other day. During the (ok, gratuitous) shirtless scene showed up, all the women in the theater plus me, gasped.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 31, 2019 8:38 PM |
He’s looking like David Spade in these. Do they share a surgeon?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 31, 2019 8:40 PM |
I said no, but only because I don't like his style. He still has the raw material for a hot man, but I'd prefer different hair (much shorter) and clothes.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 31, 2019 8:42 PM |
He's very Rhett Butler these days, isn't he? That's the vibe I get from him.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 31, 2019 8:43 PM |
Funny you should say that, R42. I watched It Happened One Night last week and thought Clark Gable was great in it. Effortlessly cool and charming, not such an easy thing to do - the hard part is making it look easy. And he reminded me of Brad Pitt. That said, Clark Gable did it better (and I'm not a fan of either, particularly).
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 31, 2019 9:04 PM |
R37 What has he had done?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 31, 2019 9:35 PM |
R24, that would be the MIT professor, Neri Oxman. Gorgeous and brilliant, she'd never have anything to do with sensitivity chip lacking Brad the Pitts.
He let the press run with the rumor and never denied it. Meanwhile, Ms. Oxman was in a long time committed relationship and is now married and expecting a baby. She had to take the extraordinary step in issuing a public denial that they were dating.
In other words, he's a moron. And I believed he used her to get a little dig in on his soon to be ex' - again, he's so dumb it's ludicrous.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | July 31, 2019 9:36 PM |
R45 I like Brad Pitt, but he seems to use some of his relationships to raise himself up. When he hooked up with Goop, I thought they were such an odd match, but I realized that he liked her because she came from a good family and went to a fancy prep school, and grew up in NYC. He wanted Goop's pedigree not Goop herself.
I think Angelina Jolie's persona is mostly fake, but I also think it's what attracted him. UN ambassador, adoptive mom, humanitarian, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | July 31, 2019 10:03 PM |
Thanks, R45.

[quote]I saw Once Upon a Time the other day. During the (ok, gratuitous) shirtless scene showed up, all the women in the theater plus me, gasped.
It being gratuitous was the point.
This film doesn’t take place in the real world, it takes place in a phony world created by revisionist Hollywood. In that world, Brad Pitt always takes off his shirt
by Anonymous | reply 48 | July 31, 2019 10:35 PM |
We don't need a revisionist Hollywood fantasy to have Brad Pitt take his shirt off. It's probably the most standard thing a Brad Pitt film can have.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | July 31, 2019 11:03 PM |
Exactly, r49. Because every film is revisionist history.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | July 31, 2019 11:29 PM |
R46, Gwynnie has said that Brad was "too good for her" and that even her father loved him. And that she and Brad are still friendly when they meet. Jennifer Aniston has also said she's still friendly with him: it's clear she blames Angelina for the breakup. When Brad showed up for a public event, after that sad story about an incident on a plane, and he had gone into seclusion for a bit, the crowd roared with applause. He apparently has an ability to maintain friendships: I tend to pay attention to that sort of thing with celebrities.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | July 31, 2019 11:58 PM |
The dirty grungy look is so 1995. He looks like an old man. Cut the hair shave that shit off his face.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 1, 2019 12:00 AM |
After hearing the story about how he enjoys farting and rolling the car windows up, in order to torture the other passengers and the see how long you can go without bathing contests. I will never find him to be attractive again.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 1, 2019 12:10 AM |
I'd let him sit on my face
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 1, 2019 12:33 AM |
R53 Leo's into that kind of shit too, or was at the time of Titanic.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 1, 2019 12:52 AM |
Pitt's been super charming during the Hollywood press circuit. Leo looks like he'd rather be anywhere else, and Margot's just happy to be there.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 1, 2019 12:59 AM |
For a Missouri hick he seems to have played the Hollywood stardom game pretty well.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 1, 2019 1:03 AM |
he looks like he has been rode hard and put away wet to me. He obviously toned up for the movie. I saw him post production doing interviews and he looked doughy. I know dataloungers dont care but also from seeing and listening to him in interviews, he is not a bright human being.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 1, 2019 1:29 AM |
[quote] he is not a bright human being.
DL posters have commented on that for years.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 1, 2019 1:30 AM |
I get the comments of him as 'not bright'. Bit he's the producer of '12 Years a Slave', 'The Normal Heart', 'Moonlight' and many other shows. For 'not bright', he seems pretty successful, and the projects he's pushed have been important and beautiful (and progressive) He's also responsible for some stuff I won't claim in his name. But he has a successful track record. And I still think he's gorgeous. I guess I'm now the Brad Pitt troll (although I'm not the OP).
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 1, 2019 1:54 AM |
He smiles a lot and it looks good on him.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 1, 2019 2:14 AM |
Yes, Brad looks good. I hope he doesn’t have any tattoos. He also needs to stop smiling. The laugh lines and crows feet are getting very deep.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 1, 2019 2:15 AM |
He should have won an Oscar for The Tree of Life.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 1, 2019 2:18 AM |
He looks good but agree that the goatee is bad. The gray ages him and doesn't look good with his hair.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 1, 2019 2:20 AM |
[quote] . I hope he doesn’t have any tattoos
He has several unfortunately.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 1, 2019 2:22 AM |
I prefer the way he looks now
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 1, 2019 2:26 AM |
I think he looks better than he has in the past few years and he can still pull off the longish hair. I'm not crazy about that suit though.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 1, 2019 2:33 AM |
He looks great! Y’alls blind.
He is supposedly not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Poor Brad.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 1, 2019 2:45 AM |
R60 Brad Pitt seems intelligent about his business, is a good producer and actor who knows how to pick the right films and projects. But he's still an airhead. I know that seems contradictory, but some of the most intelligent people I know are like that. Like the absent-minded professor stereotype, although Brad PItt may not be as smart as that. He's got good career instincts and like someone upthread said, knows how to make good friends in the business and keep them.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 1, 2019 3:10 AM |
R71, Thank you for the kindness.

The creators of those projects are intelligent and creative. Pitt is not. He has the money the connections and the favor of Hollywood's good ole boy network to get those projects made (and his own personal progressive politics). He is lucky and he apparently hires good people.

He is very handsome indeed in Once Upon A Time. Very sexy and very hot still.

by Anonymous | reply 82 | August 2, 2019 12:52 AM |

And the ciggies show all over that formerly darling face.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | August 2, 2019 3:57 AM |
I don't care for the stringy hair, but the goatee is hot. And what makes him even hotter is his "I don't care what anyone else thinks, I'm going to look however I want" attitude.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | August 2, 2019 9:32 AM |
Hirsch still gets plenty of publicity in Germany and Scandinavia. I was mightily surprised when I saw giant billboards with his face when travelling there.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | August 2, 2019 11:04 AM |
Emile looked pretty good as Jay Sebring, but I don't believe I've thought about him otherwise in, like, ten years.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | August 2, 2019 11:08 AM |
Emile Hirsch was great in his small but important role in the film; charismatic and sweet.
He was excellent in “Into the Wild” in the lead role in that film a while back...
by Anonymous | reply 89 | August 2, 2019 11:14 AM |
R78 is right. Pitt looks great in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. It's not that he looks young for his age - his character is supposed to be middle-aged. It's that he's a damn sexy middle-aged guy. It helps that his character is sex on a stick (as QT no doubt intended him to be).
by Anonymous | reply 90 | August 2, 2019 11:47 PM |
As he ages Brad Pitt is going to be the hot sexy Daddy type in a white trash kind of way.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | August 22, 2019 12:37 AM |
The makeup looks caked on at R91.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | August 22, 2019 3:09 AM |
He will look good as long as he stays away from PS and fillers.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | August 22, 2019 10:34 AM |
Brad Pitt is still fuckable, and I think he's bright enough. He isn't terribly articulate, but that's true of many people of normal or above normal intelligence. Most importantly for success in Hollywood, he is likable, a quality Angelina has never had and will never have. Marriage to him helped solidify the St. Angie persona, but look how it's crumbled since they got divorced.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | August 22, 2019 10:53 AM |

R45 Neri Oxman was dating a billionaire while Brad was trying to appear as though he was dating her. She married the billionaire. Billionaires always get the girl.

R96 She did a sequel to Maleficent that should be out soon.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | August 22, 2019 9:03 PM |
Without Maleficent her career would be deader than a doornail. She better hope she shook a lot of child support and alimony out of Pitt, because she won't have any career at all by the time she's 50.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | August 22, 2019 9:06 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 104 | August 24, 2019 2:47 AM |
He was still beautiful up until the recent plastic surgery. Now, he just looks fake and pathetic to me.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | August 24, 2019 9:27 AM |
I thought the plastic surgery settled extremely well. Fantastic body for 55.

by Anonymous | reply 108 | August 24, 2019 11:12 AM |
He looks obviously great for a man his age but I haven't found him sexy for quite some time. Fight Club was one of the last movies where he was sort of hot. At some point he just lost it, but obviously that's just me.
I'm just binging The OA and I was surprised to notice how hot I'm still finding Jason Isaacs, who's a year older than Pitt.
