Keanu Reeves -- can't act and hasn't aged well. Kevin Costner -- I never got the appeal and he's a one-note actor. Same "Gee Whiz" type of acting. George Clooney. He seems weird and isn't all that. What's the big deal about him, who cares about what he did on ER? His movies are boring. He obviously has a lavender marriage to that stick insect.

I didn't understand why everyone on Datalounge was attacking Meghan Markle right before the wedding, and thought it was just they were jealous because they wanted to pretend Harry would be single and available forever. but as soon as the story about her wanting to wear the tiara with the big emerald leaked (and palace sources reported Harry said to them with regards to it, "Whatever Meghan wants, Meghan gets"), I knew she was just in the marriage for the attention and for her ego.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 29, 2019 7:40 PM |

Another vote for Michael Avenatti. I won't say I thought he was "full of shit," but I wondered how he had so much time to travel with Stormy Daniels (stripper who had sex with Donald Trump). I was pretty sure that Stormy Daniels didn't have enough money to pay Avenatti very much money up front. I realize people like Gloria Allred and Lisa Bloom also seem to have a lot of time to do press conferences with their clients, but not to that degree. Also, with Allred and Bloom, those kinds of clients seem to be their bread and butter, so they have cases in different stages of payment at all times, probably.
When Avenatti got evicted for not paying office rent, that's when things started to make sense. I'm not even talking about the subsequent federal indictment for theft, etc.

R86 Now that you mention it, I can totally see Chris Pratt running for office, a la Arnold Schwarzenegger. Probably have his own affair scandal too.
Shia LeBeouf and his "I don't want to be famous anymore, but please pay attention to me" shtick. It should not have gotten as far as it did for people to figure it out.
Justin Bieber and the "I took a break from music, now I'm a better person." That man was shielded from every mistake he has ever made. There was no way he grew as a person in that short time he sat in his mansion smoking pot and cheating on Selena Gomez.
Aaron Carter, well, everyone on DataLounge knew who he was, but I still saw people online defending him even after his "I am no longer bisexual" statement.
Bill Maher. Gosh, you would think the world would be better at smelling bull shit with so much spreading around. Maybe that is the problem, we have become nose-blind. Maher is just an ass hole. That is it, he just a man who enjoys being the biggest ass in the room. Sometimes his beliefs match up with yours but that will not stop him from presenting hole in your general direction because he is nothing without someone to belittle.
While we are on the topic, there is no better compliment to an ass hole than a dick and Jon Hamm is one of the biggest. Arrogance perforates everything he does. If he and George Clooney are ever in a room they would dim every light in Hollywood with their thick smug.
Speaking of limited range actors, I knew Channing Tatum was not worth more than the shirt he tore off.

Bill Cosby. I was surprised this man was popular. Didn't like him in the least, and didn't like his show.
Quentin Tarantino. A frustrated, creepy dork who somehow managed to make male audiences believe he was "cool". The coolness mostly came from the music, and by all accounts he's not a musician. I never liked DJs either.
Kevin Spacey, for the most part. As enjoyable as some of his parts were, it never occurred to me that playing a sociopath was any stretch at all of his "acting" abilities, and more like a "sophisticated" freakshow.
George Clooney. Took me years to find any remote "attractiveness" in him. After that he became a sales representative for NESPRESSO, which might have been his dream job all along.
James Franco. Cannot act his way out of a paperbag. Surprisingly good turns on the James Dean movie and 27 hours, perhaps because those required overacting or art performance rather than acting.

Ivanka Trump. Back when Crazy ol Donald was just a candidate and not our actual president the media would not shut the fuck up about what a sophisticated, hardworking, beautiful, and intelligent woman she supposedly was. I heard even lefties claim that she would be a good influence on her father. I recognized that as a flaming heap of bullshit even then.

Chris Pratt is absolutely positioning himself to be the next Reagan. Schwarzenegger was educated (has a Masters, I believe), but Pratt married his way into a power family and will become the next moron Republicunt puppet in 2024 or something. I hope by then the country will have stomped the Rethuglicunts into the Stone Age till at least 2028. Hes already said he’s thought of running for public office.

Jared Kushner. Met him when he first showed his smug face in New York. He was dating a very rich girl who lived at 740 Park Avenue. Her father hated the Kushners and made his daughter break up with him. Also, the Father had info that he was gay.

Not funny at all. Total creeper, didn't understand why so many "highbrow" types thought his whining was funny.

R72. What’s wrong with Marcia Cross? Effectively letting people know she got cancer from her husband’s rimjobs is pretty non-fake

I liked Busy Phillips when she was doing the podcast We're No Doctors with Steve Agee but then she bailed on him when she got her show and apparently got pissy when people asked about the podcast.

Steve Irwin. Obnoxious buffoon who displayed no humility with wildlife. (“But my childhood!” Shut up, Millenial.)

Markle is transparent as a window, don’t know how people still defend her.
Jackson. I remember being so confused as to why people I knew were upset when he died.
Scarlett Johansson is talentless, a misogynist, dimwitted and not all that good looking.

I saw a Mel Gibson interview and was completely creeped out by his crazy eyes. He sounded manic or coked up and he reminded me so much of my father that I couldn’t watch Signs again without cringing. Then he went off the deep end and everyone was shocked...except me.

I was afraid of Michael Jackson at age five in 1984.
Also always creeped out by Tom Cruise to the point I would never watch any of his movies.

Bradley Cooper. Okay, the rest of the world hasn't caught on to whatever it is that gives him the air of a serial killer, and even I don't know what it is that sets off my "Do not be alone in the elevator with this man" internal alarms.
But the man is as creepy as hell, and I'm calling it now. Something extremely nasty is going to come out some day.

[R98] Saintly Mother Theresa's foundation had millions, yet refused opioids to dying patients (cancer etc). "Here, an aspirin. Jesus suffered too." Was it Christopher Hitchens who wrote a book showing the truth about Mother Theresa and Gandhi (womanizer, hypocrite etc)?
Elon Musk: years ago he was on my shit list together with Jason Silva. Mindless, meaningless verbose word barfing. What I hated most about clowns like Elon is how much journalists and media adored him, no critical questions allowed.
Most annoying celebrity couple: Jay-Z and Beyonce. If I see them dry humping each other one more time on stage I'm calling Child Protective Services for their kids. Narcissistic pricks.
Chrissy Teigen: overrated, riding her husband's fame. Sandra Bullock: such a great actress, yet there's something wrong.
