Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev has died after suffering a brain injury during a match on Friday evening, the Russian Boxing Federation announced Tuesday. It said the 28-year-old fighter's death happened "as a result of injuries suffered" in his fight with Subriel Matias.

Boxing, MMA...they are brutal and barbaric and should be outlawed. Besides death, they also cause early onset dementia.

When I was a kid, there was a live boxing match on Friday nights on network tv that my father I used to watch. One night a boxer was taken unconscious from the ring and died a few days later. It looked to me like he died in the ring but they didn't want to report that. Who knows.
