Dry Royal Summer Ahead

With the royals on hols. and MeAgain back to her diet/fitness regimen, bound to reappear in October ready for her African tour fit and svelte, and handome Prince George past his sixth, all we have to look forward to is Balmoral photo ops and, just possibly, a wedding announcement for Bea and Edo, and/or a pregnancy announcement from Eugenie.

If you think Meghan got big during pregnancy, wait till you see Eugenie. The photos of Fergie during her first pregnancy were frightening.

The Sussex birthday wish to Prince George is like one of those Rorschach tests - you look it at one way and you see a harmless birthday wish, you look at it another way and you see a woman who sends a birthday wish to a six year old that features herself front and center, doesn't mention the child by name and features another child in the frame about the same age. But the centre, focus, and main subject of the photo message is . . . Meghan Markle.

Jason Knauf has been appointed to head the Royal Foundation (Cambridges) and the former head has stepped down aas CEO to focus more on the "media sector" of her career. She was the person who "supervised" Meghan's highly touted cookbook project supporting Grenfell Tower survivors - which is to say, it was really Heggessey's project, and she babysat Meghan all the way and then Meghan got all the credit.

The Queen is at Buck House now having come down from Scotland to accept Theresa May's resignation and invite Boris Johnson to form a government. They put ip a photo of Boris bowing and taking the Queen's hand, and there's actually a little fan in the corner of the drawing room because it's so hot in BP.

The DM is carrying a story today (another "royal expert" giving an opinion based on absolutely nothing at all) about how the Queen is going to take Meghan aside when she visits Balmoral in early August and tell her what she has to to do avoid those PR faux pas in future.

Because, as we all know, the Queen has informed staff of her intention to have a nice private talk with Meghan, who duly informed a "royal expert" writing for the DM of same, and as we also well know, the Queen, famous for her loathing of interfering in her relatives private lives and relationships, can't wait to sit down with Meghan over tea and scones to lecture her about her PR mishaps.

Man, the tabs are absolutely desperate.
