Won't you please help Susan?
So many months and years of disappointment for Susan. If only she could use her free will to do something about it!

You have to admit, she's not very feminine or attractive.

Dear R8, I put your billet-doux into Google Translate and I'm shocked.
Susan is disappointed,

R9, that was the tamest one. you probably won't want to know the others

She votes about 95% with all the other lock-step Republicans. She's there to rubber stamp whatever agenda. That she failed to vote about 3 times with them does not make her a person who votes her conscience.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 23, 2019 12:04 AM |
A horrendous creature from the dark republican lagoon. Pretends to be a moderate to placate moderate Mainers but is a dyed in the wool conservative. Actually, she looks literally dyed in the wool.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 23, 2019 12:12 AM |
She will be defeated.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 23, 2019 12:35 AM |
Is Collins also disappointed with her boy, crybaby Brett Kavanaugh? Does she still think he won't overturn Roe vs. Wade?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 23, 2019 1:40 AM |
I’ll help her .. to the door. Bye!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 23, 2019 1:45 AM |
I think she's out come 2020 because women, in particular, [italic]really[/italic] hate her guts.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 23, 2019 1:54 AM |
Just march with pictures of all the babies Trump killed. Let his party explain why dead babies are a good thing and make god happy.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 23, 2019 2:24 AM |
I'll help her pick out a casket.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 23, 2019 3:21 AM |
That's a terrific ad... I think she's going down to defeat. And earned it.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 23, 2019 3:32 AM |
She is sick and should retire.

Turn up the music & put a hand over its mouth, a woman is complaining!
I CAN’T HEAR YOU!!!

Republicans in Congress are made terrified by McConnell and the other GOP leaders if they vote against the Republican cause. They know if they do it too much they'll not get the plum committee assignments they so crave. They'll be shunned and vilified within their own ranks.
The Republican party is pure evil.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 23, 2019 11:36 AM |
I think she's a credit to women everywhere and really beautiful as well, both inside and outside.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 23, 2019 11:41 AM |
If she weren't a white woman she could leave the Senate and take over the AARP. Her work on behalf of older adults has been pretty great. But other than that she's dead in the water.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 23, 2019 11:47 AM |
Actually, he threatened to primary anyone who didn't fall in line, r23. Either Nova or Frontline just did an episode on the Supreme Court and Mitch McConnell. Apparently he's been holding a grudge since Bork.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 23, 2019 3:09 PM |
R25: WHAT? Only black men run the AARP? What does your statement mean?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 23, 2019 4:19 PM |
She should be one of the easiest Republican Senators for Democrats to knock off.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 23, 2019 4:24 PM |
Great ad. Run them like this everywhere for every stinking one of them.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 23, 2019 4:25 PM |
That video shows what a lying, fake, closeted loser she is.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 23, 2019 5:26 PM |
But why is she disappointed? I'm so confused
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 23, 2019 8:27 PM |
If I had that face, I'd be disappointed too.

[quote]She will be defeated.

Not necessarily. It's too early to predict. It will be a close race.
Collins is definitely the most vulnerable she has ever been. Her approval ratings have taken a huge hit over the past year. Last week's Senate rankings from Morning Consult ranked her as the 2nd-most unpopular Senator after Mitch McConnell. She has seen the biggest drop of anyone in the Senate this year.
However, it's not easy to defeat multiple-term Senators, even if they have high disapproval numbers. Maine is also an unusual state with a higher than average number of Independent voters (with an Independent Senator in Angus King, although he caucuses with the Democrats). Maine is also a state with large amounts of rural areas, and a larger number of older voters than most states. Plus it is overwhelmingly white with very few racial minorities.
So it is still likely to be a hard-fought race, despite the big hit that Collins has taken post-Kavanaugh.

She's counting on Russians.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 23, 2019 10:16 PM |
YOU'RE disappointed, Susan? How do you think WE feel??????
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 23, 2019 10:20 PM |
She's sure a dainty little thing!
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 23, 2019 10:37 PM |
I'm thinking NO. I would not even tell her where the closest toilet is.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 23, 2019 10:44 PM |
Colorado, Arizona & North Carolina are probably the best chances for Democratic Senate pickups in 2020.
> Gardner (R) is struggling in Colorado
> Tillis (R) is behind Smith (D) in a recent NC poll
> McSally (R) is in a dead heat with Kelly (D) in AZ
Maine is more challenging for the Democrats. Collins is ahead of Gideon (D) in a recent Gravis poll, but Gravis leans Republican and Gideon doesn't yet have the name recognition of Collins, so Gideon could catch up. But Collins is still the favorite. For now.

She deserves to lose. Complicit traitor.

PollTroll, how is Harrison looking against Miz Lindsey in SC? My Mom's people are from the Upstate region, and I need to know if it'd make any difference if I go up there and drive all their asses to the polls.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 24, 2019 12:19 AM |
Miss Lindsey will need a gentleman caller to console her if she loses!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 24, 2019 12:27 AM |
Not PollTroll, but Lindsey Graham is not vulnerable. South Carolina is not a swing state even in a good year and Lindsey is very popular in his party.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 24, 2019 12:44 AM |
Is Mitch McTurtle vulnerable? I hate that mofo
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 24, 2019 12:58 AM |
MKIA, Harrison is raising more money than usual for a Democrat in SC. But Miss Lindsey is bringing in even more.
So although Harrison may put up better numbers for the Dems than usual, it is unlikely Miss Lindsey can be beaten.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 24, 2019 1:06 AM |
I would not call McConnell vulnerable per say, but he is beatable if everything goes perfectly. Democrats have won statewide in KY before and Dems have a strong entry in the gubernatorial race in 2020. But Mitch is very powerful and established there and will basically have infinite money to spend. There are two viable Dem candidates so far. Amy McGrath, an former fighter pilot, and Mike Broihier a local newspaper writer. Both are good candidates but beating McConnell will be a heavy lift.
The fact that it's a presidential year will hurt Dems. Trump will win the state by double digits. It's just hard to get many people to vote for different parties for president and senate these days.

Kentucky is a much redder state now than it was a couple decades ago.
Back in the 1990's, Bill Clinton was able to win Kentucky in 1992 & 1996 in his 2 Presidential victories.
And in 1992, Democratic Senator Wendell Ford won his fourth & final term.
Since 2000, the state has increasingly trended Republican.
McConnell has the worst approval ratings of any Senator in the U.S. according to last week's Morning Consult Senate rankings, but it will still be tough to beat him.
