I loved him on Penny Dreadful. He's such an underrated actor.
Rory Kinnear on male pattern baldness and fucking a pig

He was also the lead in "Southcliffe", another really good UK show on Netflix.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 22, 2019 9:28 PM |
He's great but he really should just shave his head for Penny Dreadful. The pattern baldness was pretty distracting in Years And Years.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 22, 2019 9:30 PM |
He's a brilliant actor and very respected here in the UK. He's a very accomplished stage actor and always gets rave reviews.

I found him strangely attractive as The Creature. I'm into that whole tortured poet thing.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 22, 2019 9:35 PM |
r3 If you could deport him and Jonathan Bailey to the States, that would be just great, thanks!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 22, 2019 9:44 PM |
I liked him as Tanner in the new James Bond movies. Definitely doable.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 22, 2019 9:44 PM |
I'd swallow his babies.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 22, 2019 9:50 PM |
I wonder if he'll turn into a fat blob like his father.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 22, 2019 9:53 PM |
I loved his Frankentsein-Robert Smith of The Cure character!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 22, 2019 9:55 PM |
I was just thinking about starting Penny Dreadful. Is it worth watching? Any naked Josh Hartnett?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 22, 2019 10:00 PM |
Yes, and yes!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 22, 2019 10:02 PM |
r10 Yes and yes! And he also kisses a... I'm not going to spoil it for you, but it's great when it happens.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 22, 2019 10:10 PM |
I think he’s an incredibly underrated actor and would love to see him in a wider range of roles.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 22, 2019 11:11 PM |
You gotta have ripped abs and a full head of hair to make it in the US.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 22, 2019 11:37 PM |
Also a fan. Find him attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 22, 2019 11:41 PM |
(*Connections also help.)
Hopefully John Logan can propel Rory to greater things with the Penny Dreadful reboot set in L.A.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 22, 2019 11:43 PM |
I wish NTLive would re-broadcast the "Hamlet" starring Rory Kinnear, instead of always the Cumberbatch one. Both Kinnear's performance and the production (directed by Nicholas Hytner) are immensely superior.
He was also a terrific Iago in NTLive's "Othello", also directed by Hytner, which starred Adrian Lester as Othello and Jonathan Bailey as Cassio.

When does the new season of Penny Dreadful start?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 7, 2019 4:11 PM |
His head is turning into a billiard-ball head like his father's.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 8, 2019 10:12 AM |
He should have been cast as Elton John.

by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 8, 2019 10:19 AM |
He turns my hydrant on.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 8, 2019 10:23 AM |
He's the type I have had sex with the most. Hot.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 8, 2019 10:29 AM |
I don't want to watch Years and Years just to see his ass. Any screencaps?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 8, 2019 4:32 PM |
Not bad. Bigger than I expected with a nice full bush. Thanks!
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 8, 2019 4:39 PM |
I saw him on stage in London in Macbeth along with Anne-Marie Duff (the former Mrs. James MacAvoy); I thought he was quite good even though the production didn't receive great reviews. He seemed surprisingly small and slight in person.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 8, 2019 4:44 PM |
His brother Greg is much hotter
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 8, 2019 4:46 PM |
He's one of those guys who, in theory, I shouldn't find attractive but, for some reason, I think he's quite hot.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 8, 2019 4:49 PM |
Uncut it appears.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 8, 2019 4:53 PM |
I met him backstage once after a performance of Othello (he played Iago superbly). He came across as a genuinely nice and warm individual, and was happy to chat all evening to fans - or at least he was acting happy to do it. All the photos I've seen of him make him look a bit doughy, but in person he is tall, slender, and very cute.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | September 8, 2019 4:57 PM |
vert good actor. was nude for an extended period in Penny Dreadful. Surprisingly very attractive
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 8, 2019 4:59 PM |
He had great chemistry with Eva Green.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | September 8, 2019 5:04 PM |
R28 , R33 say tall AND short.
His father was famously fat.

.....
by Anonymous | reply 38 | September 9, 2019 3:42 AM |
R37, I'm 5'10" and he was at least as tall as me, if not an inch taller.
I suppose it's possible he had temporarily grown a few inches in height for the role...
by Anonymous | reply 39 | September 9, 2019 6:44 AM |
I don't remember any nude scenes in Penny Dreadful. I think you're confusing him with Alex price who played Proteus.

Some of my favorite parts of PENNY DREADFUL were his scenes with Eva Green.

So excited to hear they are reviving the show as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. What about Vanessa though?? Fucking LOVE this show.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 7, 2019 7:57 PM |
How can someone play Hamlet for the National Theatre (broadcast, no less) and be underrated?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 7, 2019 8:16 PM |
Underrated because Americans have no idea who he is.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 7, 2019 8:25 PM |
As consumed as I was with my own hair, baldness has never bothered me if the guy had a cute face. He does, and Id gladly roll over for him. Plus I love to watch him act.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 7, 2019 8:40 PM |
Saw his Hamlet three times. It was the best performance of that role I’ve ever seen. He really is a tremendous actor. I’ve met him too and was surprised that he was so tall.
He and Ben Whishaw are the best actors working today, hands down. I’d add Tom Burke to that, actually.
