I was recently befriended by a sweet, good looking, newly out 22 year old. He wants advice on dating and "the scene". He's been fairly sheltered and is easily impressed with a cute face and nice body. I don't want him to end getting chewed up and spit out over and over again, and becoming just another bitter old queen. But I have so few good experiences to share, mostly bad ones of cheating boyfriends, cheating lovers, and questionable internet hook ups. Talk to him about your personal experiences. If you don't know the answer, perhaps the two of you could find out the answer together. If he's a bottom, be sure he knows how to properly douche.
