If you include Chernobyl, you'd have to include all the other nuclear test sites.
There are a lot of islands that are uninhabitable, simply because they don't get enough rain. These types of islands are used by seabirds for nesting.

If you mean uninhabitable without assistance from the outside world, then there’s Antarctica: there are no trees to provide heating/cooking fuel, and the limited wildlife is on the coasts.
