I've applied to a certain company many times. It sends a reference form to whomever you add. So, I have asked my boss MANY times to please fill it out, and this new place would be a nice raise. He never does even though he says he will.
I am a great employee, really! I think he does not want to lose me and that is why he doesn't fill it out.
I also have come thisclose to getting hired by the new place a couple times, and I thing him not returning the form is a mark against me. I also doubt he'd even return a telephone reference.
I'm ready to fake an address and send the thing to myself!
