Can someone post an article NOT behind a paywall?
Epic fail, OP.

If you don't know how to clear your cookies like r2, you've got bigger problems than Facebook watching you masturbate.

So people should have to go through machinations to read an article posted in an OP, and by doing so hide your watched threads and ignore list? And those who have you on ignore?
FOH!

You don't even need to clear your cookies; just open your browser in Private Mode. NYT can be fooled easily like that. WaPo's and Financial Times' paywalls are harder to circumvent.

You don't need to clear ALL your cookies-- you clear your NYT-related cookies. It takes .5 seconds.

R5, for the Washington Post website, I turn off Javascript. That's been working for me.
As for the article, well of course they are. It's all about the money and as long as there is money to be made in building user profiles and aggregating user data, they'll do it.
