Sean Connery is Scottish. Scotts have the worst luck in terms of aging badly (both the men and the women). It’s to do with their prevailing skin type - naturally pale, sensitive skin that burns easily in the sun; plus a facial muscles' quirk that exacerbates aging. Look at new Bond hopeful Richard Madden (Scottish as well) - he’s 33 but looks 43, with very deep mimic wrinkles & crow's feet.
