Seriously.
WTF is wrong with Kentucky that they elected the most evil Senators in America?

I agree with R1. It's the inbreeding.

Sad to say, but some of the very sweetest people I know are from Kentucky. I don't get it. The lady who cut my hair this past Saturday was overjoyed to hear that my sister and I were finally talking after years of estrangement.

Kentucky is really two states -- Louisville and Lexington are liberal and tolerant. The rest of the state is more than abominable. It's the seething home of toothless, angry, vicious Trump supporters who literally would kill liberals, homosexuals, women, blacks, Muslims, anyone... .if they thought they could get away with it. Driving through rural Kentucky is one of the scariest things you can ever do.

Surly, resentful, suspicious. You'd recognize this if you've ever been there. They've been at the short end of the stick for do long, they're like white but in dire straits over generations.

I agree R15. Lexington is actually a fun little city. We went white water rafting somewhere near there and our guide was the cutest, friendliest dude. They actually have a gay scene in Lexington (or did).

Read "How Kentucky became Southern"
In the 1870s it had unimaginable violence.
