What the actual fuck? Sure. Because deranged murders only had covering up their crimes in mind during the chaos of 9/11. Nobody knew what exactly was going on. Not even killers wanted to be anywhere near ground zero. All killings that were non-related to 9/11 were actually placed on the back burner, anyway, during that time. So, unfortunately, a lot of people got away with crimes because of NY being overwhelmed with the aftermath of the terrorist attack.

One being that photographers and cameramen flocked to the area and essentially every square inch of ground zero was being recorded during the entire incident. Most of these images are available online now. These supposed murderers better have been wearing fake uniforms for some government agency.

Many of the sites were guarded, as recovery and clean-up work was performed around the clock. And I think the workers could tell the difference between a gunshot/knife victim and a fire/crushing victim.
