Well, there was this accusation from Spacey's attorney back in June. I wonder is this accusation proved true.

Insiders say she even discussed a movie deal going so far as to imagine casting. But my understanding is Heather had two scenarios. Best case was a guilty verdict. Second best was a successful civil suit. My friend who still works in the local news division says he always knew the son was a reluctant participant and told me months ago this case would collapse.

The civil suit, along with book and film proceeds, were supposed to make them rich. Would've been genius but the homophobe son, Will, folded on the stand and he scam collapsed.
