One win. Don't get used to it.
The GOP has been using every tool at its disposal to maintain political power, even though its core base of older, white men is rapidly diminishing, including the most extreme forms of gerrymandering - even when it's illegal (see North Carolina).
This is an important win, though I suspect one of the few to come from this Supreme Court for the Democrats in the remaining decisions yet to be handed down.

It's going to have a big ripple effect on Virginia, though. The most likely outcome is that the entire state government will flip to Democratic control, and most likely see it firmly counted in the blue state column.
The Republicans know it's coming. Of the 19 (out of 40) incumbent Democrats in the state Senate, only two have GOP challengers.
