A Child's Garden of Wingnut Poutrage over the Use of the Phrase "Concentration Camps"...
....to, erm, describe concentration camps.
Noted civil rights activist Liz Cheney:
[quote]Please @AOC do us all a favor and spend just a few minutes learning some actual history. 6 million Jews were exterminated in the Holocaust. You demean their memory and disgrace yourself with comments like this.
600,000 dead Iraqis were unavailable for comment.

On CNN, Steve Cortes says they can't be concentration camps because the migrants are not American citizens. That is the argument that went through his brain and then came out of his mouth

And 100,000 other random responses of "HOW DARE YOU COMPARE ILLEGALS TO SIX MILLION DEAD JEWS!!!1! HOW VERY DARE YOU!!!"
So rather than discuss kids in cages or migrant camps going silent under military control, we're having a national hissy fit over semantics.
Beyond pathetic.

Too bad about the dead Iraqis but it's worth it

Not a big AOC fan, but I hope she puts Liz Cheney in a cage and leaves her there!

Meanwhile:
[quote]The Trump administration argued [in] court Tuesday that the government is not required to give soap or toothbrushes to children apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border and can have them sleep on concrete floors in frigid, overcrowded cells.
But yeah, calling them "concentration camps" is the Holocaust x16.
