I'm curious when Sunnyside went into production. The vapid Asian siblings seemed like they took the twins from the Tales of the City reboot from this summer and just added some Paris Hilton snobbery.

Aren't most pilots made in the winter/early spring? The networks traditionally announce their new shows/lineups in the first or second week of May, so I would think the "Sunnyside" pilot was likely produced months ago.

To be fair, the first season of Parks and Rec was also garbage but then it found its footing and grew to be very funny.

You have to give him credit for jumping into the aggro male-dominant comedy circuit, and being explicit about gay sexual experiences.
Ellen didn't talk about being gay until she was rich and famous enough to be on the cover of Time magazine.
