The ones I’ve been to were mixed ages, ranging from late 20s to 70s. Yes, lots of food, generally heavy appetizers. For most of these events, there’s a “clothed” social period followed by a non clothed mixer. Some are single gender, some are mixed gender. The hosts list their rules and guests who don’t follow can expect to be disinvited - permanently.

Don’t go and expect sex. That could be potentially embararssing.

I wouldn't have a problem with drinks and maybe a few grapes, but when you start requiring everyone to bring a pot luck dish and everyone is passing gas 20 minutes after eating it really ruins the the appeal. How did most guests hold up after the food?

Yes, I have taken an entire nude vacation with CMEN (California Men Enjoying Naturism). It's great...fun, relaxing, non-judgmental, friendly, no stress and nothing to think about...everything is there. The biggest gathering has been taking place for many years in the mountains above Malibu. Due to last year's devastating fires and the usual gathering location being destroyed, the Southern Californina gathering will be held in San Bernardino this summer (and maybe next summer too depending on the Malibu rebuilding). CMEN also hosts gatherings in Northern California and Tennessee. All men are welcome.

The main focus of the gathering is friendship and nudity, not hook-ups.

Unless it's an orgy and EVERYONE is HAWT, the idea really turns my stomach.

As long as the men aren't geriatric I'm open to it. Usually there are enough guys there for everyone's tastes. Some groups do have a selection process and require photos first to weed out undesirables.

Nudity and very freeing. You would be surprised how quickly you adapt and get used to it.
