Almost never.

No one comes in without calling first.

I used to but the traffic died off and I find it depressing now.

Used to when I had the space and was around the corner from our hangout. Now I am in a different city and my new set of friends have a set-up meeting spot. No calls, we just show up, and nobody is dropped in on unexpectedly.

i don't have friends who live near enough to drop by excep for one friend who is a long distance cyclist and sometimes his route brings him by.
I host various groups of friends for weekends, mostly in the summer. These are usually city friends and they enjoy visiting the "country" and its fun for me. Sometimes they invite themselves and it's usually fine.

No, because I don't know anyone rude enough to just "drop by" unannounced.

I need notice so I can clean up. Sometimes we live like fraternity brothers and not the cute ones who haze each other on porn sites.

I swear I thought this was a Beth Howland thread.
