Drop sugar and carbs from the diet and watch it all just melt off. Seriously - when the spouse was diagnosed with diabetes we radically changed our diets to do that no sugar/no/lo/carb. Both of us have dropped way over 40lbs in weight.

One cuts back on ones calories and one exercises.

You can't change how your fat is distributed. Even when I was skinny kid in high school & college, I can look back at pics and see I still had love handles. Driving myself nuts with diet and exercise did nothing for this. You cannot spot reduce fat. Finally I got them sucked out in my 30s in about an hour & it was gone for good. Never came back.

[quote]I had put on some weight last year
Past perfect tense is incorrect in your sentence, OP.

R4 how much did you pay to have that liposuction?

Stop eating white powder or start snorting white powder. Either one will help.

All these diets are bullshit, like no carbs. The skinniest I ever was in my life was when I lived in Italy. I eat moderate portions and exercise.

To be honest I stopped drinking coca cola and other soft drinks and lost 5kg in 3 months.

R7 - It was around $6500 including the lower abdomen also. This was 10 years ago.
As a side note, it was only 2-3 lbs of fat when it was done. I've shown people before / after pics, and they think I lost 30 lbs. It's crazy how fat just doesn't go away that way.

Liposuction is the answer.

R17 Rumour has it Britney Spears attempted that surgery on herself a few months back and that's why she ended on the looney bin.

You should try the potatoe diet OP. I have read about it in an interview with Kevin Smith who has lost quite a bit of weight using that diet. You basically eat nothing but potatoes, but as much as you want. I do it for 2 days straight and then 2 days of normal food. It does work for me as well. It's been 2 weeks and I lost several pounds already. When I reach my desired weight I will limit the potatoe intake to 2 days a week which should keep the weight. I don't want to give up carbs, or any food I like, or starve myself. Nor I want to excersise. The potatoe diet is the best option for me and it really works.
