there are so many now, you might as well check into a nunnery if you avoid all of them
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 21, 2019 3:09 PM |
Damn.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 21, 2019 3:39 PM |
Considering that people well into their 50s grew up playing them and many still do, I guess you'll be sticking to the elderly technophobe population?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 21, 2019 3:43 PM |
/em crosses OP off his dating list.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 21, 2019 3:46 PM |
I like racing games
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 21, 2019 3:51 PM |
Stunted children. They are never long-term relationship material.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 21, 2019 3:52 PM |
It’s just another hobby
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 21, 2019 3:54 PM |
It's an addiction.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 21, 2019 3:55 PM |
What’s the difference to someone who plays let’s say golf ?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 21, 2019 4:00 PM |
Golf is physical activity. And when you play golf with someone, you can actually have a conversation. Plus it's an adult activity.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 21, 2019 4:05 PM |
Are you in a position to be rejecting tops, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 21, 2019 4:12 PM |
It's demented.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 21, 2019 4:30 PM |
Do you date, OP? Bravo!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 21, 2019 4:31 PM |
All men are emotionally stunted. They just show it with different symptoms.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 21, 2019 4:33 PM |
Golf? I mean, I play. Dont know that it's any more physical than say darts or pool. Unless you walk and tote your own bag.
Oh! Its ADULT! Well, then......
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 21, 2019 4:43 PM |
More than half the adults in the US play video games.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 21, 2019 4:47 PM |
OP, what's the difference between that and being on the Internet all day?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 21, 2019 4:47 PM |
If they play occasionally, it's ok. If that is their only hobby and the only thing they can talk about then I'll fuck them if they're hot then drop them. If they're not hot I probably didn't even interact with them.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 21, 2019 4:55 PM |
I'll be 55 in November and I still play video games only now it's not on the TV but on my computer. I run the following apps to do so there's Steam which contains Bioshock, Bioshock II, Fallout IV. Then there's JNES with all three SMB's, Xevious, PacMan, Zelda, and a mess of other ones. And finally Project64 so I can play Mario Cart.
I don't play it all the time - but to blow off steam nothing beats them. And Op, I wouldn't date your ass either. Enjoy growing old and lonely.

As long as he doesn’t play Candy Crush
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 21, 2019 5:05 PM |
r8 is right (in many cases)
I wonder what percentage of "gamers" are actually addicts
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 21, 2019 5:07 PM |
I truly don't think they care, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 21, 2019 5:32 PM |
Every pleasurable activity has its addicts, and some that aren't very pleasurable have theirs as well.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 21, 2019 5:36 PM |
Well, it's all men younger than the Baby Boom generation, so you'd better get used to it.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 21, 2019 5:44 PM |
When they listen to that "rock and roll" music that's made by and for juvenile delinquents.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 21, 2019 5:47 PM |
r10 thinks people can't have a conversation while playing video games...
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 21, 2019 5:49 PM |
Video games are tedious.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 21, 2019 5:56 PM |
I like theoriginal Plants vs Zombies, and Peggle
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 21, 2019 6:13 PM |
No different than things 99% of other men do. It's a way to waste time before dying.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 21, 2019 7:10 PM |
Oh yeah and I'm not emotionally stunted at all. Just piss me off and you'll find out very quickly.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 21, 2019 8:34 PM |
Are women who play video games "stunted" as well? If it's just a part of your life, not the whole of it, what's the harm?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 21, 2019 9:41 PM |
[quote]Bi gal who's played 'em all
True in a few ways...
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 21, 2019 10:42 PM |
[quote]Golf is physical activity.
Golf is an excuse to drink and is popular because fat people can do it do to the lack of movement required. There are even mini-cars available to haul the fat asses around the course so they don't have to walk.
[quote]And when you play golf with someone, you can actually have a conversation.
Yeah, when you play golf you aren't really /doing anything/ so I guess you would have to speak to fill in the silence. You can have a conversation when you're playing a video game, so I don't get what the difference is here.
[quote]Plus, it's an adult activity.
It's an excuse to drink; I guess that's what's adult about it? It's also an excuse for men to get away from their spouses. This is also subjective. Some games are for adults, some are for kids. Like golf and mini-putt.

I don’t get it but if it brings someone joy who cares. I’m dating a guy who is kind of addicted to one specific online game.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 21, 2019 11:08 PM |
I dated a coke head alcoholic before him so I’m glad to have the video game addict now. It’s how he copes with life.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 21, 2019 11:10 PM |
I didn’t know golfers drink
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 21, 2019 11:28 PM |
[quote]Video games are tedious.
Not NEARLY as tedious as the people who make this declaration
[quote]I don’t get it but if it brings someone joy who cares. I’m dating a guy who is kind of addicted to one specific online game.
See...OP is alone and wanted some attention, so he made a post about video games knowing that it would get some traction when he should be grateful that anybody can stand to be around him. Trust me, If you've EVER dated someone that played video games, you AND your partner enjoy your "Me" time.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 22, 2019 1:22 PM |
Sure, NOW you tell me!
