My two kittens were found in a trash bag. They had been injured /abused as well. A good samiaritan found them and brought them to a very caring and wonderful rescue. Now they have a good home and are the sweetest and happiest pair (six years later), but things very easily could have turned out tragic instead. It blows my mind that anyone could be so cruel and thoughtless toward helpless animals. If one doesn’t want the animals, just bring them to a shelter. To be so lazy and evil has got to be a sign of a sociopath.
