Man SUES Parents Over Trashed Porn Collection

His father, according to the lawsuit, compared it to finding drugs in the house

"Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional heath. I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.”

Collection was worth over $86,822.16

Man sues parents over trashed porn collection

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — A man now living in Indiana is suing his parents after he says they destroyed his valuable porn collection. FOX 17 is choosing to identify the plaintiff in this story as "Charlie," as this is a civil case without any associated criminal charges. The case dates back to October 2016 when, according to a lawsuit filed this week, Charlie moved into his parents' home in Grand Haven after going through a divorce from his wife. Charlie apparently stayed for 10 months in their home, doing housework in lieu of paying rent.  He was asked to leave after police had to be called to the house in August of 2017 for a domestic situation.

How horrible!

by Anonymousreply 104/15/2019

Reading skills?

Charlie filed a police report estimating the value of his collection to be $28,940.72.

Besides, the collection was worthless. This OCD type obviously simply totaled the purchase price and what kind of idiot spends 29K on porn?

by Anonymousreply 204/15/2019

Who collects porn these days when there's Xtube and Pornhub?

by Anonymousreply 304/15/2019

Difficult to estimate the collection's value when all the pages were stuck together

[quote] Who collects porn these days when there's Xtube and Pornhub?

Items are out of print and not available on the web

by Anonymousreply 504/15/2019

He had over $80,000 worth of porn but couldn't to rent a place of his own?

by Anonymousreply 604/15/2019

"He killed is dad, and that was patricide!" I wonder if it was by his mattress side.....

by Anonymousreply 704/15/2019

Reading skills, again!!!! He is suing for +80K in DAMAGES: The purchase price was 27K and of course the "collection" of videos was worthless the moment each video was paid for.

by Anonymousreply 804/15/2019

Wow, so his parents destroyed his 86,000 videos? That must have taken a long time! Did they use the kilo of crack cocaine to maintain energy? Why didn't the son just sell the cocaine and rent a warehouse?

Adult man living with his parents, referred to as "Charlie."

It's their basement. It sounds like he'd been warned.

by Anonymousreply 1004/15/2019

Who has a porn collection anymore??? I got rid of those space users years ago.

by Anonymousreply 1104/15/2019

"Who still has a porn collection??"

A divorced dude living in his parents' Michigan basement, that's who.

by Anonymousreply 1204/15/2019

Maybe he can hit up Alex Jones for money, since Jabba helped out that guy who was evicted out of his parents' basement.

by Anonymousreply 1304/15/2019

The amount he's suing for is exactly three times the "estimated value".

by Anonymousreply 1404/15/2019

How does one spend 30k on porn? and where do you keep it? In his parent's house? The father did it for his own good? His son did nothing but jerk off every waking moment?

This sounds like a house of horrors. The parents must be pieces of work as well.

by Anonymousreply 1504/15/2019

It wasn't back issues of Playgirl was it?

by Anonymousreply 1604/15/2019

And he moved to Indiana without all of it? and somehow expected his parents to haul it there for him? How funny.

I guess he couldn't take 12 boxes on the Greyhound bus.

by Anonymousreply 1704/15/2019

Any After Dark's?

by Anonymousreply 1804/15/2019

Was it gay porn?

by Anonymousreply 1904/15/2019

Stupid is as stupid does, especially in Amurica.

by Anonymousreply 2004/15/2019

What kind of toys were destroyed?

btw - If he purchased some of this pron during the course of his marriage, then I think the former wife might be entitled to a fair and equitable share of any judgment related to this property. - jmho
