According to what Nate Silver just posted.
Yesssss! Go, Pete!

Would vote for him in a second but his rapid rise out of nowhere seems like a trojan (or muscovite) horse.

Nate Silver loves making fun of predictit betting markets, or "Scottish teens" as he calls it on his podcast.
I hope OP is being facetious

Nate who?

Pete B will be on the Rachel Maddow Show tonight.

Yeah, PredictIt is sketchy. But nice to see this anyway.

Never gonna happen. Pete is the flavor of the month. He will never win the nomination because he has zero support from minorities. Black church ladies in the south ain’t voting for a gay white boy from the Midwest with a queeny husband.

All those leaders peak too early and fall off.
I expect Bernie, Biden and Butti to be behind by fall. Maybe another B, as in Beto will rise and some of the ladies.

Pete did well on Rachel tonight.

We need someone who knows how to deal with Congress and has relationships to get things passed. I have a lot of respect for Buttigieg but he would have no leverage with the House and Senate.

Pete is a great guy. I'd love to run against him - DJT

You actually meant to say the whites evangelicals.
If Pete does not get elected, it won't be because of minorities.

White evangelicals are not a significant segment in the Democratic primary r15. You realize this is a Dem primary, not a general election.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 16, 2019 3:13 PM |
I thought nate silver predicted Hillary will win the presidency. I am borrowing trump catchphrase "fake poll".
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 16, 2019 5:28 PM |
I'm supporting him so far. I just want to see what "opposition research" discovers. I hope he doesn't have some raunchy Grindr profile Men4SexNow profile that will embarrass him.

Religious white men are a factor in the Democratic party Primary.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 16, 2019 5:58 PM |
The importance of religious white men in the Democratic party:
Iowa : 3.17 million people / [bold]90% White[/bold]
New Hampshire : 1.35 Million / [bold]93% White[/bold]
R16, No need to worry about minorities in the Democratic party. Pete will be long gone (thanks to religious white males no less) by the time the primaries head to minority driven states.

About 7% of the Democratic voters identify as white evangelical, its a small slice. You seem to think all white people are white evangelicals for some reason. Most white evangelicals are of course Republican and not participating in a Dem primary.
