My friend was there and his Instagram Is full of shots of him cavorting with 20’somethings. He still looks great but I’m wondering if he embarrassed himself.
Is 55 too old Coachella?

Humiliating
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 15, 2019 1:50 PM |
As long as he's rich
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 15, 2019 1:52 PM |
Can he pass for 37? Is he attending with a much younger partner?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 15, 2019 1:53 PM |
Not if he's got money
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 15, 2019 1:54 PM |
Are you jealous, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 15, 2019 1:55 PM |
Enjoy life while you can.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 15, 2019 1:56 PM |
Making a fool of yourself is sad. Many people mocked him, but he was probably too drunk to notice.

As mentioned above, money can be a mitigating factor.
The other 2 are a big dick and/or really good drugs.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 15, 2019 2:01 PM |
Oh who cares! Enjoy life!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 15, 2019 2:02 PM |
Mid-life crisis.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 15, 2019 2:11 PM |
Enjoy what you like! Fuck everybody else who tells you what you can/cannot do.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 15, 2019 2:16 PM |
I remember when I was young and old guys (like 35) would show up.
We weren't hateful, just puzzled.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 15, 2019 2:19 PM |
Hey if it makes him happy go for it, however at 55 he really should be beyond such things.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 15, 2019 2:21 PM |
So he's out enjoying his life and doing what he thinks is fun and you're.... home wondering about his life and if he's embarrassing himself.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 15, 2019 2:21 PM |
I think r14 has it down pat!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 15, 2019 2:23 PM |
It depends on how old he looks. If he looks 55 then yes, he should be embarrassed. If he looks 35 then maybe not as embarrassed. If he looks 25 then there’s no problem.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 15, 2019 2:45 PM |
We're going to need to see the IG pics to truly judge for ourselves, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 15, 2019 2:48 PM |
That's a very suitable age for Coachella
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 15, 2019 2:50 PM |
Doesn’t matter what you think OP if he’s having fun. I hate the fakeness of Coachella with the heat of a thousand suns but if that makes him happy nobody should be embarrassed by him or for him.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 15, 2019 2:53 PM |
A lot of people on DL are scared to live and enjoy life.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 15, 2019 2:53 PM |
Truth! DLers as a whole seem very fearful.... of everything.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 15, 2019 3:02 PM |
Embarrassing to who? Why are you judging? EXACTLY what R14 said.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 15, 2019 3:03 PM |
If you're of a certain socioeconomic class, societal norms and or rules do not apply.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 15, 2019 3:06 PM |
Does your friend hate gay people? Because the billionaire owner of Coachella uses your friend’s money to support anti gay groups.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 15, 2019 3:09 PM |
Pretty sure the friend's motivation is to be around guys like these, not to 'hate gay people':
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 15, 2019 3:12 PM |
Is he having fun and you’re not?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 15, 2019 3:16 PM |
Sad that he thinks he still fits in with that crowd. But I hope I’m equally oblivious to shame when I get to be that age.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 15, 2019 3:33 PM |
55 is to old to be worried about what others think of you.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 15, 2019 3:35 PM |
Wasn't Madonna 55 when she embarrassed herself at Coachella?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 15, 2019 3:41 PM |

A-fuckin-men.
55 is only too old if you’re in a box already. If not, who gives a shit. Enjoy life while you’re here.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 15, 2019 3:51 PM |
Coachella is a daft event full of celebrity worshipping, try hard influencers. It used to be very cool but now it's all Kardashians and Z list celebs.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 15, 2019 3:53 PM |
Um isn't the guy who runs Coachella in his 50s? Also, who cares.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 15, 2019 4:03 PM |
I think the real question is not: is 55 too old to go to Coachella? The real question is: is 55 too old to constantly post your Coachella photos on social media?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 15, 2019 4:06 PM |
People who post selfies need to die.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 15, 2019 4:09 PM |
R28, 55 is to old to be worried about what others think of you?
Guess what I’m thinking about you right now!

Not if he can pass for 26.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 15, 2019 4:17 PM |
Bless his heart
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 15, 2019 5:19 PM |
Let him live. Who cares?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 15, 2019 5:24 PM |
Coachella...you couldn't pay me to go.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 15, 2019 6:31 PM |
Good for him! Who cares what people think, let him have his fun.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 15, 2019 6:33 PM |
Yes it is. I don't know why ANYONE would go this garbage. r40 ditto.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 15, 2019 6:35 PM |
If your friend is 55 he’s from the generation that created events like Coachella. Fuck what the young sheep think. They really aren’t as interesting as they think they are. That said, I’m not sure I’d want to be surrounded by them for any length of time.
