Evangelical students spit in Mike Pence’s face

“He does not reflect our Christian values,” say the Christlings

by Anonymousreply 31Last Monday at 3:57 AM

I'm sure Pence will want to have one-on-one meetings with male students so that he could get the first hand account of their issues with him.

by Anonymousreply 1Last Sunday at 2:21 PM

Can his social interaction program handle face to face conflict?

by Anonymousreply 2Last Sunday at 2:24 PM

I hope it was actual spit and not figurative spit.

by Anonymousreply 3Last Sunday at 2:26 PM

If a female student spits on Pence's face would his wife consider that cheating ?

by Anonymousreply 4Last Sunday at 2:26 PM

It's about time Christianity took the religion back from these antichrists.

and some spit

by Anonymousreply 6Last Sunday at 2:28 PM

Thoughts and prayers for Pence’s sexuality. He will need it

by Anonymousreply 7Last Sunday at 2:31 PM

WHat's the real story on Pence's he really a closet case or are people attempting to insult him?

by Anonymousreply 8Last Sunday at 2:32 PM

Did MP lick his lips and think of the Lord?

by Anonymousreply 9Last Sunday at 2:36 PM

OH OP what a let down I was hoping an actual Evangelical student had spit in his face.

by Anonymousreply 10Last Sunday at 2:37 PM

I'd prefer they swallow

by Anonymousreply 11Last Sunday at 2:52 PM

Wow! Who would have thought this would have happened. Evangelicals rejecting the religious Vice President. It goes to show how extreme the Pence wing of the evangelical movement has gone and how out of touch it is with younger evangelicals. There is hope that evangelicals will come around and let their feet touch the ground, even for an atheist like me.

by Anonymousreply 12Last Sunday at 4:25 PM

Bless his Heart.... and have a Blessed Day, Mike!

by Anonymousreply 13Last Sunday at 5:39 PM

Mike is having a blessed day whenever he's in a town which has male escorts.

by Anonymousreply 14Last Sunday at 5:42 PM

Pence is not extreme nor is he the antichrist. He is an old school fundamentalist and he does not believe in the water down of biblical teachings. We can disagree about his support for trump but I still give him credit for not giving into the extreme left Nazi like behavior. I am not a fan of the guy because I can't really stand republicans but I do share his fundamental believes.

by Anonymousreply 15Last Sunday at 6:26 PM

[quote] extreme left Nazi like behavior.

Go shove the crucifix up your ass and bleed to death, scumbag.

by Anonymousreply 16Last Sunday at 6:29 PM

That’s what the fundies would like to do to most gays if they had the chance, r16.

by Anonymousreply 17Last Sunday at 6:33 PM

Wow, I’m actually taken a bit aback. Here are some Christians who actually listen to the message of Christ. I wonder if this could be the start of a movement?

by Anonymousreply 18Last Sunday at 6:36 PM

No actual spit was exchanged.

by Anonymousreply 19Last Sunday at 9:57 PM

R8 Wasn't one of the rumors that his parents sent him to one of those ex-gay treatment centers and the doctors there were a bit overly enthusiastic with their use of ECT?

by Anonymousreply 20Last Sunday at 10:06 PM

r15 Illiterate troll. "Water down of biblical teachings" indeed... And just what role does DL play in your "fundamental believes"? Pretty sure that the fundamentalists are opposed to all things gay. They need to prep you a little better in St. Petersburg.

He is really a closet case.

by Anonymousreply 22Last Monday at 12:10 AM

[quote]but I do share his fundamental believes.

YES! Like fedral guvernmint out of edukation!

by Anonymousreply 23Last Monday at 1:37 AM

I loathe him and would love for him to be caught out in some hypocritical behaviour, but would hate for him to be Family. So maybe he can make a speech about the importance of repaying loans and then be shown to have embezzled.

by Anonymousreply 24Last Monday at 1:53 AM

So young evangelicals aren't anti-gay anymore? Interesting...and hopeful.

by Anonymousreply 25Last Monday at 1:59 AM

The article states that evangelism is not a monolith and it's not. So it's not surprising that one group at a Christian School feels this way. And good on them.

by Anonymousreply 26Last Monday at 3:25 AM

Huh. And here I thought it would be because he's Catholic. It's not often that an evangelical surprises me, but there it is.

by Anonymousreply 27Last Monday at 3:29 AM

R25 - I don't think I'd go as far as saying that.

by Anonymousreply 28Last Monday at 3:30 AM

by Anonymousreply 29Last Monday at 3:31 AM

What is r15 doing here?

by Anonymousreply 30Last Monday at 3:32 AM

[quote] I am not a fan of the guy because I can't really stand republicans but I do share his fundamental believes.

In other words you're fundamentally a delusional idiot who believes in a magical sky fairy.
