"Being poor, being in debt, having fewer resources than others," said Abrams, "does not make you less."
Our current president, of course, never needed to be told this.

But it's not okay to be fat. And I can hardly see the chair she's sitting in.

I think her issues with weight and debt would make her more relatable to many voters. A lot about Stacey is very warm and normal and down-to-earth, yet she can still deliver soaring, inspiring speeches to large crowds. Republicans should be scared to death of her, regardless of what she runs for next.

I hope Stacey runs. Household debt is a major issue for the majority of Americans and she can personally speak to that experience, unlike most of the field in both parties (most of whom are part of the top 1% and almost all of whom are in the top 5%).

I do t think Republicans are scared of Abrams. I donโt think sheโll have much appeal nationally. Yes, I agree sheโs relatable and I admire her ambition and accomplishments in her life. I just donโt think she has that โitโ factor to wow the masses.

Itโs OKAY to be in debt?! How many people would like their employer to be in debt to them? Sorry, we canโt pay you. Take us to court.
How many people like being stiffed? Sorry you paved my driveway, but I canโt pay you. But Stacey Abrams says itโs okay.

Being in debt isn't the same thing as stiffing people, R6 (aka what Trump is known for). In most cases, it just means that one's income hasn't kept up with one's cost of living. Which is more and more common as the US become an oligarchy.
