Whether he'll last much longer than that is another question; I'm inclined to think no - despite not having a problem with him - if only because it's already such a huge field and there are numerous better-qualified candidates, regardless of your particular political bent. Beto doesn't have a particularly novel platform, either, and stating up front that he wants to run a "positive" campaign - against Trump, for fuck's sake - won't win him many fans aside from "centrist" flyovers.
