Love this: ABBA doing “Dancing Queen” live in Australia, 1977.

This is also great: Darlene Love, orchestra, and backup singers doing “River Deep, Mountain High” on Letterman.

Thanks for that link r1, its amazing, the energy of the live crowds back then. I didn't realize the two lead females sang that well live, very strong - I always thought it was studio manipulation that made their vocals appealing. Is that a live orchestra behind them upstage? wow.

Bob Dylan and The Band, "Before The Flood."
Two-disc albums usually suck big time. This one never quits, start to finish.

I saw them January '74 at Boston Garden but nothing from that concert is on the album. It's too bad.

From 1977, before mash-ups were a common thing, DL Icon Miss Warwick and Isaac Hayes absolutely *SLAY* this merging of two Bacharach/David tunes "originally done by Miss Warwick and the rest of us followed."

Liza, in the period 1976 to 1994. Live performance was her best medium.

Audiences didn’t have cellphones back then. People went to a concert to actually enjoy their fav artists.
