No one can prove it's a hoax. That's why she wasn't arrested. She wasn't in a city with security cameras everywhere. Also no cabs or uber to track. The footage of her running around the parking lot in restraints could support either theory. R5 her face wasn't unrecognizable and branding or writing on yourself is a common thing with hoaxers. There have been incidents when the police accused someone of a hoax and it turned out not to be a hoax. Police now do what they did with Jussie. They assume they are investigating a real crime until the evidence proves otherwise. I think this woman was with another man.

As an early comment pointed out, this happened in a fairly rural area with few video cameras so they technically can't prove she lied even though everyone knows it. My feeling is that she will slip up and try this again. Papini is that dumb. As for where she was, probably fucking some guy.

You don't have to stage a disappearance to fuck a guy. Women who stage these kind of attacks usually want pity or attention. In Sherry's case I think it may have been about $$$$ (Please contribute to my GoFundMe account!)
