Animal Shelter Owner Adopts Special Dog...

with two mouths. The secondary mouth is located where its ear should be.

Most shelters would have had the dog put down. I'm glad this sweet pup ended up with this kind lady at the shelter named "Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society".

I’m glad she was adopted. She reminds a little of a goat.

by Anonymousreply 1February 20, 2019 11:43 AM

She's beautiful.

by Anonymousreply 2February 20, 2019 11:49 AM

She reminds me a little of a Picasso.

by Anonymousreply 3February 20, 2019 11:50 AM

Looks like a DL’er.

by Anonymousreply 4February 20, 2019 12:13 PM

This is so revolting. Hate parasitic twins.

by Anonymousreply 5February 20, 2019 12:31 PM

Gross.

by Anonymousreply 6February 20, 2019 12:41 PM

A pit bull mix with two mouths for DOUBLE the mayhem!

by Anonymousreply 7February 20, 2019 12:42 PM

R7 beat me to it.

Still it’s nice to see someone cares for the unlovely creatures of this world.

by Anonymousreply 8February 20, 2019 12:45 PM

All animals are beautiful. (Side note: I have a friend who flew to London to pick up a specific breed dog. Barf.)

by Anonymousreply 9February 20, 2019 1:02 PM

Yeah. I love this story. I remember one in which a cat had 3 eyes. God Bless the good people that see the beauty inside these animals!!!

by Anonymousreply 10February 20, 2019 1:09 PM

As long as the animal isn’t suffering in any physical or emotional way, fine. Otherwise these people are just looking for attention at the animal’s expense. Euthanasia isn’t always a bad thing.

She's called Toucan:

Toucan eat as cheaply as one.

The shelter owner should start a go-fund-me to raise the funds to have corrective surgery (assuming surgical correction is even possible). I'm betting she'd get a lot of money once people saw that precious pup. I would think surgery for the dog would be quite expensive.

by Anonymousreply 13February 20, 2019 3:35 PM

Lol although as aforementioned by r3 , Picasso would have been a great name...

by Anonymousreply 14February 20, 2019 3:44 PM

What a cutie! I love animals so much.

by Anonymousreply 15February 20, 2019 6:59 PM

He's sweet but slightly scary to see at first. I'll be donating to the shelter. Thanks, OP.

by Anonymousreply 16February 20, 2019 11:08 PM

I wonder what the mother was exposed to to cause that deformity ? Meth? I would adopt that precious dog , shower it with love and walk in questionable black neighborhoods in Baltimore to scare the hell out of thugs

by Anonymousreply 17February 21, 2019 12:40 AM

I’m glad she wasn’t born in the past when people believed in witchcraft. Lord knows what kind of horror show it would’ve caused.

by Anonymousreply 18February 21, 2019 3:26 AM

We have more dogs than we can handle as it is. It wouldn't be the worse thing if this dog was let go.

by Anonymousreply 19February 21, 2019 3:39 AM

I wonder what sort of care the second mouth needs?

by Anonymousreply 20February 21, 2019 3:44 AM

That two-faced bitch.

by Anonymousreply 21February 21, 2019 4:34 AM

A nice story on the DL for a change.

by Anonymousreply 22February 21, 2019 7:04 PM

R20 according to the owner of the shelter she needs to have the second mouth wiped occasionally as it drools onto her fur.

by Anonymousreply 23February 21, 2019 11:16 PM

Postman's worst nightmare.

by Anonymousreply 24February 22, 2019 4:23 AM

Ew. Kill it.
