Amazon's prices are way too high. I was able to find 4 items on eBay at cheaper prices with a combined total difference of nearly $110 less than if I purchased them from Amazon. The majority of us do not want to end our marriages. Even if cheating occurred, we will usually attempt to work it out and stay married. This is especially true for the middle class, and the wealthy. No one wants to go through a messy or nasty divorce, even when one or both spouses feel justified. The money complicates it even more and it can become quite ugly.

Cheating sucks, but living with an abusive partner is untenable and cannot be easily forgiven or dismissed.

Once it gets to the point of divorce, something has gone very wrong, and there’s no going back.

People divorce because of emotional and/or physical abuse, or because they have fallen in love with someone else and they do not want to live a life without the person they have fallen in love with.

If Bezos and his wife are done, I believe every other option was considered before calling it quits. 24 years is a HUGE investment, and most people will not walk away from that, even if they have seriously contemplated doing so.
