Bob's thinning combover was blondish-red in hue and blended with his skin color, so it wasn't as distracting as Sam's dark brown combover.

No matter how you slice it, Bob Fosse was NOT a physically attractive man in the 1970s. He was losing his hair, coming it over unattractively, and he dressed terribly. All the constant chain smoking and the alcohol and drugs were doing a terrible number on his skin. And despite his lifetime of dancing, his body did not look very attractive at this point in time either. Plus he dressed for shit.

It's funny because Fosse was hot when he worked for MGM. But it's as if his skankiness burned all the attractiveness out of him as he aged. That's a rough 40s.

After watching Episode 1, and even being a major SR fan, I'm thinking his Fosse is simply a toned-down version of his Chuck Barris, complete with "Sam Rockwell dance turns" and continual cheating on his Main Squeeze.

Maybe he will get better in the next episode. He seems really lost.
