Last night I was watching The Wizard of Lies (about Bernie Madoff. Good movie, btw). I noticed in the closing credits it listed a couple of people for stunts. WTF? There was no car chase, fights, person jumping off cliff or tall building, etc. So why were stuntmen needed?
Movies that didn't really need stuntmen

The sons suicide scene might have required a stunt man

Golden Girls. Since they were all witches in real life whenever they fell down they just bounced back up without any injuries.

I think that is the best Bernie Madoff movie thus far. The Richard Dryfus mini series did nothing for me.

Sorry that should've been Driving Over Miss Daisy. That car chase was amazing.

I put down Driving Miss Daisy in jest, being silly. But looking it up on IMDb that movie actually had three stunt people. I can't see why. Except in the beginning when Miss Daisy goes in reverse instead of forward. I wonder why else

Maybe it’s a union thing.
