Or butchers it, I should say.
How does one pay tribute to an artist by singing the song without knowing the words by heart? She’s winging it. And although she’s a fine singer, this song is out of her league.

When the vocals are lacking, just turn up the wind machine!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 13, 2018 12:55 PM |
She should be ashamed for this.

Many moons ago, my dad had a convention to attend in Atlantic City.
For whatever reason, we got tickets to see Susan Anton at the now demolished Sands Hotel and Casino.
I will never forget her doing a random medley that started with "I'm So Excited" and ended with "Proud to be an American."
Even as a 10-year-old, I knew I was watching something special in its strangeness.
That was better than this.

Was that performance her reply to this meme that was going around years ago?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 13, 2018 2:07 PM |
R8 probably. She pissed off loyal Queen fans with that performance
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 13, 2018 2:11 PM |
I fucking can't fathom why she would try. Stupid bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 13, 2018 2:17 PM |
Did you say she’s a “fine singer”? 🙄🙄🙄 Bitch, please.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 13, 2018 2:21 PM |
R11 I’ve heard her do well plenty of times. She work well with the right material, like most pop stars.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 13, 2018 2:37 PM |
Sad!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 13, 2018 2:54 PM |
If you need to be looking at the floor to see the lyrics the entire time, why bother?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 13, 2018 3:21 PM |
She's butchering the The Beautiful Ones in that video which is a far greater crime.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 13, 2018 3:51 PM |
Lmaooo @ everyone upset she’s butchering classics.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 13, 2018 3:53 PM |
P fuckin' U
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 13, 2018 4:44 PM |
She should have tried something easier, like "Another One Bites the Dust" or "I Want to Break Free."
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 13, 2018 4:47 PM |
💀💀💀💀
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 5, 2019 10:15 PM |
Why is this bitch singing in a hurricane?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 5, 2019 10:27 PM |
r8 is a VERY notable observation.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 5, 2019 10:31 PM |
Why do you bitches keep bumping these old threads
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 5, 2019 11:24 PM |
Because old white men hate successful black women
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 5, 2019 11:31 PM |
A shitty singer with a great marketing team.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 5, 2019 11:33 PM |
Beyonce is many things. What she is not, is in the same vocal league as Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Jennifer Holiday, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Ella Fitzgerald, Alicia Keys, Dionne Warwick, Nina Simone, Roberta Flack, Sarah Vaughan or Lena Horne. She is, however managed better than all of them.

Beyonce can sing. No, she is not a vocal artist like flat foot singers Aretha, Whitney, JHud, etc, but she has a nice voice that is not very soulful, and she uses harmonies to make up for what she lacks. She also started the vibrato style that every pop bitch in the early 2000s took and ran with.
Beyonce sounded best in harmony with Kelly Rowland singing her lower parts in Destiny's Child. Beyonce replicated that sound for her first album and it was a hit. Now, nobody cares about singing voices anymore in R&B except old queens.

No kidding. Beyoncé's fans all seem mesmerized by her costume changes and the wind machine. Who cares what she's singing?
