Do you know the moment you knew you were in love with your partner?
I do.
I had been dating my partner for about 4 months, and I knew this was going to be longterm.
My job sent me to a conference in Orlando, and I took my partner (Bf at the time) with me. By mistake, my job booked us in a hotel for families with kids-- the rooms all had bunkbeds, video game consoles, and were decorated in kid themes.
My previous bf would have freaked and started yelling, so I was on guard for my new bf's reaction.
He just laughed and went with the flow. It was at that moment that I knew I loved him.

Gave me an Austin Healey 3000 in the most beautiful orange, with green leather. My testosterone jumped and I fell in love.

After night filled with 2 minute of best sex ever, I wake up and there is envelope on nightstand with $200. That’s when I know I’m in love with Donald!

I'd say our second date. Our first date was great and we didn't want it to end. The restaurant politely asked us to wrap it up about midnight. Due to our work schedules and the fact that we lived a few hours away from each other, we had to wait two weeks for our second date, but we talked on the phone every couple days and texted on and off as well.
The second date was in a city midway between where we both lived. We each got our own hotel room. We needn't have bothered with that. After an evening out and dinner together, we ended up in his room having sex all night. When I woke up the next day, he got me some tea in the morning (can't drink coffee here) and brought it to the bedside. It was such a simple but kind gesture that showed he was thinking about me, as I had told him I wasn't a morning person and needed my tea to wake up. I knew it was love there and then. Been together about six years now (took about a year but we ended up in the same city) and it's better than ever.

OP, why did your previous boyfriend freak out? That seems like an overreaction.

On or around our second date, we were discussing little kids and how they can argue over toys, and I said something about "I told him, 'that's not a share toy,'" and my ptr replied with a Cher voice and flip of the hair, "you mean a Cher toy?" He kind of zapped me in that moment. A few months later I told him I loved him, but that's the moment I think of.

He had a hotel room upstairs from the gay bar. We had amazing sex and I did what I usually never did: I spent the night. I slept so well with him. Still do, 23 years later.

R6 old bf was all about appearances. Everything had to be top notch or else it was beneath him. He was fun but that side of him was exhausting.
