Weird, I was surprised. After she left Reg and Kelly did well on the show she wasn't that popular and it was surprising when NBC hired her. A lot of people (like me) found her annoying, but she had found her niche again. She can take those damn Kardashians with her. And Kris Jenner.

She's looking very frail lately. Since she's probably too vain to allow herself to gain 10 or 20 pounds, it's best she leaves TV now before she becomes another Barbara Walters.

Her first years with Regis, I thought they were good. I watched them every morning. Regis knew how to handle her. It was when she got all pious and preachy that I quit watching.

Kathie Lee was forced out because they want a younger demographic to tune in. However, their demographic is middle aged women and retirees and a younger host wont fit the bill. Besides, Hotd and Kathie Lee have great chemistry which translates well onscreen and keeps ratings up. I personally did not like her when she was with Regis. She was too preachy and judgmental and constantly put the focus on herself. She has lightened up in that respect and they both seem like they are having a good time and do not take themselves too seriously. I think this will be another NBC mistake. See Megyn Kelly...

She was quick sometimes and bitchy and I liked watching the show for that. but overall she was too preachy and condescending. it was a good run! Hoda and Savannah are cool in my book.

I don't follow Hoda but somebody on my Facebook had a video of hers that showed her little girl with their tree. I had to laugh because it was a little artificial tree that sits on a table. Just struck me weird that somebody who has all that money and a child wouldn't do more for Christmas. Hoda was at the Olympics, in London for the royal wedding, etc. she is never home with that child she claims she wants so much.

I'm gonna miss her. She has a quick wit that I find refreshing.

NBC did not want her to leave. This past year, she’s had a lot more time off, and now rarely works a full week. She’s taking off all of January to finish her movie..
